I no longer support my hacks. Please feel free to update them and release new versions elsewhere as long as I get the credit for the original modification.

DESCRIPTION

This modification gives your users an opportunity to create their own personalized menus of favorite threads, posts and users within your bulletin board.

• Zero file or template edits.

• Complete list of favorites is listed in the user cp.
• Last {x} favorites are listed in a navbar dropdown that is available from every page, where {x} is a number configurable via admin cp.
• Users can create their own titles for their favorite items.

does this hack work with vb blogs (can you add blogs to favorites), Can you make it so the users favorites can be viewed in his/her public profile?

I am on Snow Leopard. Using the archive app it was not able to be extracted. I tried Springy instead, (not a default app) and it worked.

not sure why, but thats how I got to extract.

oddly enough it didn't go into my navbar. per chance can you post the code for it here? It would be helpful for others especially the ones with custom themes.

I've tagged this in case it does get some of the mentioned updates such as user permissions and the ability to auto favorite certain threads for all users. Without those I really see very little benefit to adding it to my forum.
