Hmm im sorry maybe i'm missing this but, Admins or Mods can only edit own file not other files..? Did i miss an option somewhere..? How can the Mod/Admin Edit other Articles posted in these. I just see edit options in My Articles.
Excellent MOD..
Great Hack. Only problem I have is that it doesnt show the thumbnails on the newest author and top poster on the side
ehh?? Strange. I've checked it many times, you can test it in my demo site two. Even if the member hasn't post a photo in his profile, you must see a "No Photo" there. I'll check the code, as I just cut lines from the commercial version to publish the Lite version and maybe I cut some lines mores..

Admins and Mods can edit other files in 2 ways:
If they've approval on, then on any new article or any modification of the article.
In frontend, in full article view at the bottom you can see a Delete or Set/Unset as Editor choice (if you're logon as Admin/Mod).
But what exactly do you mean editing an article? Admin can edit only some parts: eg moving category if the user has post it in wrong category. If you mean, editing the article itself (text), no they can't.
I still think it should be mandatory. Let's say you've got 100 articles in a category and no one puts a title or short description (neither of which are mandatory at the moment). How will you know what the article is about? You'll just have a list of "..." . Think of the title field like a thread title field.
Also forgot to mention in my previous post.... paragraphs dont work as has been posted by other members. When you submit an article, it forgets you've made paragraphs in your box. Also, the "IMG" button is missing in the article editor. You can however type the [*IMG] tag in yourself, and it works perfectly. Im using Vbulleting 3.6.4, PHP5, MySQL 4.1 if that helps you.
Marked for correction in next update. (I mean about the title and I'll think very seriously to use another editor).

Yes sorry, I should have explained better. There is a box saying no photo. I realise now its the profile picture as opposed to the avatar. Is it possible to change it to show the avatar instead?
That's why I avoid to use vb internal features. First time I decided to use its editor and here are the troubls. Sorry my friend but as you can see at: http://www.madebymary.com/forums/vba...e&articleid=17
I've posted an article and paragraphs and styles (italics, bold, colors) are working fine at 3.6.4
Seems that I must replace it with my own editor.
I don't understand. I submitted a test article in your own vbarticles yesterday. It got approved. I used carriage returns to format paragraphs. It didn't work there either...on your own system:
So what is the fix here? We have to use our own editors...not the one that comes with vbarticles? How do we do that? I don't understand.
I think this is an incredible mod Mary, one that I will most likely buy, and I will definitely nominate as Mod of the Month. It just needs to be tweaked a little (especially the paragraph issue). Keep up the great work!
