vMembers manages subscription purchases and downloads · **Released**: 06-19-2005

What is vMembers? Say a member buys your good via a vB paid subscription. If the good is a script, the members goes to vMembers, wherever you have it installed, and can download the script. However, before the member can download, the member is prompted to agree to your license agreement and could be asked to insert a domain name for the script.

vMembers takes care of vB database changes via product, and there are no vB file changes. vMembers adds several templates, a bunch of phrases, and one new file with its own queries. While vMembers uses vB to login, vMembers does not need to be within the vB forum directory. You can install vMembers in its own directory, and name the new file what you choose.

vMembers works off the vB subscription and profile information. Other than setting a path in the new file, you can control vMembers using the current ACP. If you know how to run vB paid subscriptions, then you can run vMembers. If you do not like vMembers, check out Ron1n's vBPurchase here.

If you install vMembers, click the install button. This allows you to receive update notices, should any be sent. It is also a nice way to say thanks!

Side Notes: Attached images are somewhat out of date. Some skins and this mod may not get along.

it doesn't support Replacement Variable‎ in styles
I have my header modified & has {vbdir} replacement variable that represents the forum directory but when viewing this script it shows me he link of the ics as http://domain.LTD/vb/{vbdir}/styles/rose-1/HL03.gif
& it must be like that http://domain.LTD/vb/styles/rose-1/HL03.gif

whats go wrong ?

Download the mod again and overwrite members.php as that file changed since my last post. Remember to set the path again in the file.

Hey, I just installed it.

I add a subscription...well two but their not showing up. Any idea whats wrong?

When you go to your-domain.com/forum/payments.php, do you see "blah does not have any paid subscriptions available to which you can subscribe" onscreen? If so, go to ACP -> Paid Subscriptions -> Payment API Manager and edit something to make it active.
