vBCredits - Ultimate Points System Details »» | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
vBCredits is the ultimate points system for your vBulletin!
Click here for the vB3.6 compatible version Yes, this also works for vB3.8! Thank you to everyone who voted us MOTM Features:
Just follow the directions carefully in the zip based on whether you are clean installing or upgrading Fully integrated with vBulletin and easily integrated with third party scripts: Many hacks allow you to specify a points system by entering the table and column for the points data. Use TABLE: user COLUMN: credits when integrating vBCredits with such hacks (note: you may need to include your table prefix with some hacks)! If you are unsure about integration - ask me! Why is this version not the gold version yet? vBCredits 1.4rc1 went through a long bugtesting process at the official site, and rc2 is largely bug free in its entirety. However, *it is missing most of the admin help and post/thread deletion actions are temporarily removed while I figure out how to fix them. Footnotes: Thank you for using vBCredits, I would be happy to hear your feedback and correct anything that comes up. For more tailored support, please indicate you have installed this hack, and if you like it you can nominate this for MOTM. Use of this free hack requires that you retain the copyright line at the bottom of the forum (PM me otherwise). If you do not agree with this, please do not use vBCredits - thank you for your understanding and support! Show Your Support

it would be nice to be able to integrate vbcredits with vbexperience so that VBE's points can be turned into VBC's credits. Any idea if this is possible now or later?

Downloaded and installed. Installation went like a charm. Installation instructions in the readme were terrific, especially for a n0ob like me who doesn't really know what he's doing. That's very much appreciated. :up:
What I can't seem to find in this thread or at vBcredits.com is some sort of primer on how to set up credits (dollars in my case). I'm not really understanding the math between these things. This is just Monopoly money for my site; no actual commerce is going on here, but I don't want to screw it up and have to obliterate everyone's accounts because I screwed up and wound up giving everyone $1,000,000 per post or something. Is there any sort of beginners' guide or something like that to get me started? Thanks. |

OK, I'm trying to get this set up today, but when I go to my userCP and click on "Dollars and donations" or "Banking and loans" I get a 404 error.
Any help? I can't seem to get anywhere with the vBcredits.com board because I never got my registrastion e-mail so I'm permission-less for most of the threads there. |

set $this->cashType to "credits" then scroll down to the eight $this->bonuses settings, and put 0 for each (otherwise they will get awarded on top of your regular vbcredits awards) unfortunately, due to the way the gameroom's settings are in this file, you will have to reapply these edits upon every update of the gameroom on your site.
