Forum Home Enhancements - Members who have visited today.

This modification is no longer available or supported.

This adds a simple display of all members who have visited the forum - either today (i.e. since the users midnight) or in the last 24 hours.

Note: it is not possible for this hack to count guests.

The main features of the 3.7 version are as follows ;

1. It displays the list on the Forum Home.
2. The list view is collapsable, so you just see the number.
3. Invisible users are only displayed to those allowed to see them (with a "*")
4. Users who should display as coloured or bold etc will be displayed correctly (based on the display usergroup).
5. If you 'hover' over a username it will show the time they were last active.
6. The list is in member name order.
7. The mod is phrased.
8. The ability to turn it on/off is in the ACP Options.
9. The ability to allow only certain usergroups to view the list is an ACP option (include or exclude groups).
10. The switch between Visited Today and Rolling 24 Hours is an ACP option.
11. The listing of members can be suppressed (a simple message is displayed instead).
12. The list of names can be set to be always collapsed on initial view.
13. An option to record and display the Most Ever Members can be enabled.

(Options are in vBulletin Options > Who has visited today)

To install just unzip the XML and import into vB using the ACP Product Manager.

I created a userfield option where people select there team from a dropdown in the usercp and they then have a crest (little logo) to the right of there name. To get this to work I was told I had to create a plugin but didn't know how, so someone on here done it for me, the plugin is this:

Product: vbulletin
hook location: forumhome_loggedinuser
title: football crests
Plugin PHP Code: $online_userinfo = fetch_userinfo($loggedin['userid']);

And of the forumhome_loggedinuser the code for the template is:

How can i add the avatar of the members beside their name? and Is it possible to only display a certain amount of members? e.g. the last 10 members who visited the forum.

I have a template issue that I am sure is simple to fix but as I am not a coder, where would I look to fix it please? I really want to use this mod.

I would guess you need to edit the Display_Visitors template, but its impossible to say from just a screenshot.

Hi installed the mod working. Was quick and easy thanks and is working fine, thank you.

Is it possible to change or remove the whos_online.gif? It looks a little strange having the same image twice so close together.

I installed this on my test forum, worked great.
Now trying to install it on my real forum and I'm getting the following error when I import.

When I browse to the file, and then click on upload I get the following.

No file uploaded and no local file found.

any ideas?

I have had this mod installed for a little while and just noticed that my count is off.

Notice it says the most visitors online in one day was 19 'today' and today just started as it is about 0700 and have had only 3-visitors so far.

I am running 3.7.2 and have had this installed since 3.7.0

Is there any other area that I should have upgraded or looked at?
