Many hacks allow you to specify a points system by entering the table and column for the points data. Use TABLE: user COLUMN: credits when integrating vBCredits with such hacks (note: you may need to include your table prefix with some hacks)! If you are unsure about integration - ask me!
Why is this version not the gold version yet?
vBCredits 1.4rc1 went through a long bugtesting process at the official site, and rc2 is largely bug free in its entirety. However, *it is missing most of the admin help and post/thread deletion actions are temporarily removed while I figure out how to fix them.

credits_time.php is the scheduled task for vbcredits, runs every midnight. basically:
gives birthday credits to those whose birthday it is
checks if there are any new referrals to validate. if they check out, they get added to the refferer (vbulletin actually doesnt save this so my hack has to), then applies the referral award and referee incentive (kind of a thanks for including your referrer, which sometimes they dont)
applies time and activity credits, if its been the number of days you specified (normally 1 for daily, but could be like 7 for 'paychecks' seen in other hacks, or whatever days you want :-p)
Also, all credits applied naturally respect the on/off settings of the recipients as well as their additive referral bonuses, although the new values dont take effect until AFTER this script runs, not during it.
So, a pretty essential file. A bunch of other points hacks dont use crons because they are tricky to do without bogging down someone with a thousand queries, so requires some slightly more advanced sql knowledge. These hacks then require session type systems with more data, which gets more complicated and buggy and so on :-p
Also chase, right now that table is set 100%, which should be just fine....if the width is too long you can always change it in the credits_manage template
After installing vbcredits, import the credits_icash product in the extras/convert folder in the download. after import, delete both the importer and icash. please note that if you changed the money row in icash you should run the converter for THAT, not icash. if its not something thats in the convert folder, let me know what it is so I can go make a converter for it.
