Fully integrated with vBulletin and easily integrated with third party scripts:
Many hacks allow you to specify a points system by entering the table and column for the points data. Use TABLE: user COLUMN: credits when integrating vBCredits with such hacks (note: you may need to include your table prefix with some hacks)! If you are unsure about integration - ask me!
Why is this version not the gold version yet?
vBCredits 1.4rc1 went through a long bugtesting process at the official site, and rc2 is largely bug free in its entirety. However, *it is missing most of the admin help and post/thread deletion actions are temporarily removed while I figure out how to fix them.
Footnotes:
Thank you for using vBCredits, I would be happy to hear your feedback and correct anything that comes up. For more tailored support, please indicate you have installed this hack. Use of this free hack requires that you retain the copyright line at the bottom of the forum (PM me otherwise). If you do not agree with this, please do not use vBCredits - thank you for your understanding and support!

Is it possible to award points when a user has viewed a thread (any thread)? Because I basically want to award credits everytime they perform an action that would load a new page.
If vBCredits is used on a forum that has some monetary value attached to the credits, where in the admin section does the reserve for unredeemed credits for accounting purposes appear?
For example, a member has 10,000 points which has a monetary value of $10.00. The forum has a minimum monetary price of $15.00 which is for a vBulletin.com T-shirt. Later on that member might decide to cash out his/her credits that she/he has earned.
For accounting purposes you have to set aside reserves equal to the dollar value of unredeemed credits.
I took a peak at vBCredits but didn't see how or where the dollar value of unredeemed credits using vBCredits is displayed.
examine the credit settings for that usergroup for any high values, and compare it to that user's activity. or you could pm me admin access and ill take a look around.
yes, now I got it, I didn't edit one of the usergroup settings
Could anyone tell me how I can change how the output text for vBcredits in the navbar and postbit (The one which displays how much credits you actually have)? I would like to remove the link the goes along with the text. Please let me know.
First off, love vbcredits but am dying waiting for the shop.
Second,
Is there some reason inactive users seem to be losing points on my forum? I can't find any of my options that would cause users to lose points...
currently, users will LOSE credits for inactivity, to the tune of (negation multiplier) * (activity award). as i understand this is kinda undesirable for some people, there is a switch in 1.4 final to turn off the negation action on specific actions, such as inactivity or induction (another one people have disliked)

currently only the thread owner will get credits for having other people view their thread. same with profiles.

search for the phrase called exactly 'credits' (no quotes). edit it to whatever you would like. note that the acp will still refer to them as Credits, and if you want to integrate a third party hack which gives you the option to specify a database row, you still need to indicate 'credits' (no quotes)

credits essentially come out of thin air, not from a specified reservoir. if you choose to attach value to credits, it is up to you to maintain such a reservoir, and make sure nobody exceeds it. maybe something like this will be in the next major release of vbcredits (the one after 1.4 final)

if you are using 1.3, youll have to edit the plugin, and it gets kinda messy...
if you are using 1.4x, just edit the lines that you inserted into the templates
