DownloadsII

DownloadsII is a download database that integrates into vBulletin. It allows you to upload files, add images to them, create categories, link to external files - and more. It is very flexible and has many options.

Because a lot of people keep on asking this:
This mod works with any version of vBulletin 3.7.x and 3.8.x!

It's also coded 100% XHTML 1.0 Transitional valid, just like vBulletin itself.

Help!!! I can't upload large files??

This is probably the second most asked question. Have a look at this post for the solution.

It doesn't work with GARS?!

If you also use the latest version of GARS, you will get the "Fields marked in RED must be filled in!" error when uploading a file. I provided a fix here on the GARS forums.

Addons

We are offering 3 addons for this mod at the moment (have a look at the bottom of this post for them). DownloadsII contains 5 hook locations for the vBulletin plugin systems, so you can add extra functionality without file edits.

Notes

• ecDownloads Buddy is NOT compatible with this version. If you are using the Buddy, you should UNINSTALL it before installing DownloadsII ver 5.x.x. The Buddy's features are now integrated into DownloadsII.
• DownloadsII is a direct derivative work from Ron1n's ecDownloads.

If someone can figure out how to change the thumbnail system to utilize the "graphical" way vbulletin 3.7 does, would be appreciated. I tried to alter the code and could not figure it out Thanks!

I re-imported the XML too.

I deleted via FTP all the files.
I re-uploaded all and now all seem to be ok.

Hello people this is a realy good request but has probally already been asked

I followed this tutorial:

to make a new tab block on my profile and it worked great

but the thing i want to do now is this:

$dmemberfiles

i want that in the block and have it show the members files

i tried adding that in there a few diffrent ways with no luck

any help to get it in there and have it show the members files would be great

ya well i mean i got the download stats to show up in the profiles i just can get the files to show up

like i got the upload and download stats there just cant get the file list there

Since I have upgraded to version 5.0.8 from a version a few versions back, the upload function is broken.

I do fill Filename, Description, Category and then browse to the file on my harddisk.
But after upload it returns that the fields marked in red should be filled.
But not one field is marked.
