This is the most current repository of definitions for DJ's AME :: The Ultimate Automatic Media Embedder. These media definitions will expand your AME to support embedding from hundreds of websites. More videos. More than videos. These definitions will let you embed content from sites that include games, widgets, music players and so much more.

This repository was seeded by contributions from the vBulletin community over several years, but are curated here for easy access. Special thanks to Hotwheels and Danyloski for starting the tradition.

IMPORT
DEFINITIONS ARE NOT INSTALLED They're imported through your AME CP. Which means you have to have AME installed first. You DO NOT import definitions through your Product Manager. I mean, you can try. But I'll make fun of you.

The READ ME file explains in more detail. Please don't skip it. I named it in big letters and everything.

I can't stress this enough. I NEED LINKS in order to troubleshoot problems. Links to the video. Links to the thread. I can't do anything without knowing what videos are causing the problem. If all you do is post that a particular site is not working and provide me with nothing to look at, well, how can I fix it? Following this simple guideline will save us both a lot of time and effort. (And check the FAQ on the first page. I worked really hard on that one. :erm: )

Please note that I do new definition requests in the order they were received and as timely as I can.

Its usually more helpful if you include examples of URLs that are not working as intended. After messing around a bit, I found another permutation of their URL structure. This version should take care of all the versions I have come accross, but again, can't stress how important it is to get examples versus 'it dont work'.

It works now, but unfortunatelly the ones embedded don't work anymore.
If you enter the link to the page with the player like this "http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-gameplay-dantes-inferno/52342" it works. If you enter the URL above the embedded code like this "http://www.gametrailers.com/player/52342.html" it doesn't work. I've tried to use both definitions, but i'm getting about 3-4 players at once instead of just two

Also, the YouTube HD is not working, as i've noticed no HD=1 in the links... so the plugin you suggested doesn't work. Thanks for your work !

The regexp was conking out on the .html ending as I didn't see any URLs in that format while testing the site. It was a pretty straight forward fix. See attached.


Again, unless I can get examples of youtube HD URLs that are/aren't working... not much I can do there. And there will be nothing I can do if the URL formats are no different.

I only tested it with a couple permutations, but should be fine. Looks like it is the exact same definition as the stopdesi one I did the other day so extraction needs to be on.

Doubt it. Again, I don't see any obvious way to view stuff without logging in.

Guys, it is MUCH easier to do definitions if you can provide example URLs that work without needing to be logged in and have a box with HTML embeding code somewhere on the page.

Looks like there is a local hosted definition in DJ's file though I have no experience with it.

Thanks again. Unfortunatelly i think there is a small letter missing (and i can't find where that is. Here is the title i get for the videos (i think the letter "R" is missing from [/COLOR]):
