Troubleshooting Server Requirements:
PHP 5
If you get an error:
Code:
The Facebook Connect cross-domain receiver URL http://www.SITEURL.com/xd_receiver.h...%220.699%22%7D must have the application's callback URL http://www.SITEURL.com/forums/ as a prefix. You can configure the callback URL in the application's settings.
Means that there is something wrong with your callback URL. Your callback URL must be where xd_receiver.htm is; so when you enter [callbackurl]/xd_receiver.htm into your browser you should see a blank page (not a 404 page not found error or anything else).
If you get a continues this means there is a javascript error. Make sure you've done all the template edits correctly (especially footer & navbar). Clear your cache and reload the page.
If nothing happens when you click the Facebook Connect button make sure your callback url domain is the same as you forum domain (the one set in your forum settings) - more specifically make sure that there is a www (or isn't) in both domains.
Many more features may be implemented in the future so keep checking for updates.

Not true. I've tried sending an email to these users and receive a bounce back in return.
Actually, that IS true. These emails won't just "get to the user", though, you have to comply with the standards set forth by facebook.
As far as sending mail directly to the proxy mail, it isn't going to work right. You can NOT mail these users directly, nor, frankly, should you mail users from your forum in a "mass mail" format!

I have boards that have emailed thousands of users with no issues at all, and if you allow them to log in to your site via there facebook accounts why should you not be able to send them emails?
It seems this mod is more of a hassle than it is worth, why would you want users on your board that you can not control, I would rather them make an actual account, and if they do not want to do that then they are not wanting to view my site anyways.
Can't be done
This doesn't "register" users for your forum in the standard way. You need to use something like this mod to force users to accept rules once registered
when you create a thread on the forum and it posts it on your facebook wall is the link that says "view thread" suppose to take you to the thread or just the section where the thread is located? on mine it is taking you to the main section and not the thread itself. if this is not correct how can I fix it; or even if it is is there a way to get it to actually link to the thread?
hmmmm...this is weird. the original post of the thread doesnt link directly to the thread and instead to the main section the thread is located in; however if someone responds then it does link directly to the thread.
and it only notifies you on facebook if there is a reply if the person who replies is also on facebook and is connected...
