Ladies, please - don't you think this all bit too much?
John, you've a nice hack with the tetris leaderboard - in the interests of continuity, I personally prefer it, when the original hack thread, stays on the topic of supporting the original hack.
Without doubt, there is major thread drift here. Which does make it difficult for people installing your leaderboard hack, to find and get support for it. That is the ethic of vB.org, whether it's written somewhere or not. I see no problem with you selling your arcade hack either, but I think a separate thread for it somewhere would have created less confusion. As it is at the moment, support for the leaderboard hack ends somewhere about 20 pages ago.
Futureal, please go ahead and release your arcade hack. Free competition is right and the way it should be.

I'd like to state my regret over posting that thread in The Lounge, as I did not at all intend for anybody to be bashing John in it. I made that thread only because I didn't know if it would be good for the community or not if I released a similar hack to his. I obviously erred in my decision to post that publicly and open the proverbial can of worms.

The result may have been unfortunate, but the intention was sound.
vbulletin.org is in the hackers hands... yes you can sell your hacks if you like... but its been stated before... once someone decides to sell their hacks it could result in a chain reaction... just like styles... find a really great style for free nowadays is hard... the prices that some ppl charge is their decision... but we're talking about a community here... with more hackers trying to use vb.org to sell their hacks soon this place will just go down... and thats a shame... i've thought about selling hacks before... have i? no... will i? i don't know... but if more ppl think that they're gonna get away with selling crap... then goodbye to the vb.org community... it'll be just a place of ppl trying to sell their stuff... im sorry no disrepect towards John... he just happens to be a person wanting to sell this hack... thats his decision fine... as for futureal go for it man i personally won't ever use the hack... but as stated competion is allowed... if john thinks he can create something better and more worthy to sell fine... but if futureal creates something even better and free of charge... well more props to him... its all fair ground as long as there's no stealing or ripping... regards...
John, do whatever, I am actually looking forward to Futureal hack, mainly because after what Link has told me and the results of his forums, I would like to see the feedback I receive.
