Following is a non-exhaustive list:

• Simple install
• Ajax based with:
  • Fast and Intelligent chats retrieval through javascript calls to server files (refresh delay configurable per usergroup)
  • Edit/update by double-clicking on a chat
  • Interact on chats through menus and javascript
• Many usergroup permissions to limit features according to usergroups
• Full configuration of the chatbox display:
  Size, position on forum pages, editor layout (either top/bottom input or left/right textarea) and position, number of chats displayed, ...

In that case, I'm assuming your custom skin is in /images/skinname ?

Open up Firefox or comparable browser, view the error console and find the actual errors. Then you can go into the files and adjust the paths so it points to the correct url.

Oddly I just upgraded to VB 4.2.0, installed a custom theme in /images/themename and it worked flawless.

Are you using MGC Chat Evo v3.2.3 free version or the branding free?
What version is your Vbulletin?

Again, opening up error console in the browser will tell you exactly what's up, but I suspect your theme is not compatible with your VB version or it's hacked and has incorrect values.

Try REINSTALLING your custom theme as a brand new theme and don't inhereit any settings. If that works, it's your other theme.

After updating to the latest version, my text entry box for the chat has been sized down to about 3 characters wide. Anyone else? Where can I modify it's size to get it back to where you can actually see what you are typing?

You are running Vbulletin 4.2.0 aren't you? Because that happened on mine. They changed some functions like vb:raw and stuff.... I'll be telling VBDev about it tonight.

Chatbox is working correctly on 4.2.0 Rick.

The entry box is an option you have to change.

Clement, I did change it. It's still small and I have replicated the same issue as doctor.

I'll look into this more tomorrow/tonight and I'll PM you admin for my server so you can do whatever you want.

I have a vbulletin forum version 3.7.2. Just installed the latest version of this addon.

My complete chat dissappears when activating the /PM command in the settings. How can I start private messaging (new tab) with a click on the username in the chatbox?

Also the chat's menu is not working anymore (menu shows up, the links can be clicked but nothing happens).

Installed the german language file, but most words are still english.

I saw a reference to this error for an older version of the chatbox, but nothing current... I have this error showing up for a few users on mobile devices, using the default mobile style in Vbullitin....

To be honest, it's a mobile platform and the chat isn't realistic on that.

You need more info too. Are they all using iFail's.... Are they all using safari? Did you try it in Dolphin browser? If it's only on a few and all on the same device there is your answer.

I know though, for a fact it works on the iFail's because my forums chat works on my phone.
