Detailed features

Following is a non-exhaustive list:

• Simple install
• Ajax based with:
  • Fast and Intelligent chats retrieval through javascript calls to server files (refresh delay configurable per usergroup)
  • Edit/update by double-clicking on a chat
  • Interact on chats through menus and javascript
• Many usergroup permissions to limit features according to usergroups

You have to add css code for the input field.

Study the template to see which id you should use and then edit mgc_cb_evo.css template.

That youtube tag is a bbcode ? If yes then it shouldn't work in the chatbox as it's not in the tags list.

Unless this tag is added in another way than being in the tag list array which wouldn't be such a clean way.

Well the FlashWindow function seems to be from microsoft MSDN which is not available from javascript.

Somewhere in the config.php file you have their your database info, like database address, password, what mail to use in case errors occur.

Paste that error message. Make sure the passw and sensitive info are not included in your paste.

why not all files need to upload in one directory to make it easy to removed?

and , we hope the install only to upload files and product so langauge

not to edit any template

Seems like the usergroup table wasn't modified to add the mgc_cb_evo_default_color field.
Did you get any error when installing the chatbox ?

I would recommand you to uninstall the product and import it again.

You have the possibility to ban someone from a link in the menu near the chats or use the /ban command.

Its syntax is explained in the chatbox help (? icon in the chatbox).

There is multiples locations for files upload because some are using the vB standards :

• cpnav and permissions xml files goes in includes/xml so that vB automatically recognize it
• Data manager class goes in includes because this is where vB searches them when you instantiate one
• Admin files goes in admincp directory for structure keeping
• Cron php file could indeed be moved to another directory, I'll perhaps consider that
• Perhaps mgc_cb_evo.php and mgc_cb_evo_ajax.php could also be moved to mgc_cb_evo directory, I'll consider that

Regarding the language, this is for personnal reasons, I am french so I decided to make it default in french and to provide an english language file. I am sure that can be understood

Not sure if this is a '#' or a '.', I am not a master in CSS and don't have a code beyond my eyes but that should be something like that.

I wasn't criticising you. As I said in my post I can see that you are busy and I will have a go at doing this myself. Clearly my problem is only cosmetic and that you have priorities with database errors....
