My users are still having trouble with the chat refreshing automatically as it's supposed to (I set it to refresh every 5 seconds, as it's a popular chat and assumed it would fix the issue). The only way to seem to fix the problem and show current text users post is to literally refresh the entire page containing the chatbox.

I noticed this has been mentioned before and I believe a fix was being worked for the next update, however, I think that was a couple updates back. I assume a fix is still in the works?

Is if you have the chat setup as display oldest first, then when you click the tcat collapse image, the chat doesnt entirely collapse.

But if you have Newest first, chat display does collapse.

Any work around on this please

On another template, such as of another plugin so people can chat at the bottom, it won't show up. The $chatbox_forumhome works though on forumhome.

Well it depends. If it's on forumhome, forumdisplay and showthread, then you have the display options for that or you can do the edit for the 3 related plugin. It's explained for forumhome in the readme but can be replicated accordingly on the two others.

For other pages, you can use the show chatbox in a variable on all pages See Display and position options.

No you shouldn't be encountering this issue anymore.
Please provide a link to your forum with a test account (u can send it by PM, please admin account would be much appreciated to see what's wrong).

Have you imported the product before running this script ? Coz it seems not as the tables are not here.

User that reported such problem hadn't updated files correctly. Check that they are correctly uploaded especially if you are using filezilla.

Sometimes I have a problem where if foreign characters are used (such as Japanese) the text stops appearing. It doesn't happen all the time, but it only happens when foreign characters are used. Sorry if it was mentioned already, I didn't see it scanning back through the pages.

A fellow administrator installed and then uninstalled this but the settings are still listed on usergroups and now we cannot modify usergroups due to:

How can I remove this?

What I need to know how to do is how to remove the MCG ChatBox Evo Custom Permissions from the UserGroup Administration page. I reinstalled the addon and then uninstalled it and I still have this at the bottom of my usergroup settings: http://www.screen-shot.net/ss/664945965867.png
