Detailed features

Following is a non-exhaustive list:

• Simple install
• Ajax based with:
  • Fast and Intelligent chats retrieval through javascript calls to server files (refresh delay configurable per usergroup)
  • Edit/update by double-clicking on a chat
  • Interact on chats through menus and javascript
• Many usergroup permissions to limit features according to usergroups

Just installed the new 0.1.2 version and I don't see any problems. good job and thanks for the efforts Cl?ment!

Thanks very much for making the pop up menu (when you click the down arrow) not move when you slide over other arrows and to show up directly under the curser when you have many chats viewable

I do have a question on the PM channel though. Is it correct when I have a PM with someone through the PM channel... That anyone that has PM rights can see our conversation? If we use PM without setting up the channel no one else can see it though.

No no this is not correct, channel is just a location so even in its own channel, the PM are only seen by the one who sent it or the one who received it

So, I should be able to set up a new channel.... (add new channel- title: PM--Description: PM--name of the channel image: mgc_cb_evo_pm--warn users upon new message in channel: yes--activate the channel: yes [save])

Then when we use the drop down send PM and carry a PM conversation... someone else with PM permissions can click the PM channel and see our conversation. Am I setting it up wrong?

the collor pallete in Usergroup Manager still not showing up in FF 2.0.1 and on user option

No no as I told only the user that send the pm or was the receiver of the pm can see it !!

Are you saying that actually someone with permissions to see pm can see others pm when in a channel ?

That's very strange coz I have tested it both in Firefox, Opera, Safari and IE

Hum perhaps a Z-Index problem.

Can you edit the mgc_cb_evo_chatbit_menu template and changed z-index : 1 to z-index : 50 to see if that fixes it.

Yes sir. PMs between me and other can be viewed by anyone with PM permissions.. Feel free to use your admin login to my forum and check it out... You will see all PMs through that channel. We're there now.
