Separate Forum Categories

• Description: This mod separates each forum category on the forum home without any template edits. The category header is added to the top of each separated category. This will be done for ALL the styles on your forum. Have a look at the attached screenshot and everything will become clear if you don't get the point
• Why? I created this mod because someone requested it.
• Limitations:
  1. It's possible that this mod won't work properly on highly customized styles.
  2. The 'Last Post' column can be smaller than normal if the thread titles of the category forums are all small (you can only fix this with a template edit). Have a look at the attached screenshot to see this limitation.

In fact, I don't have the "Forum, Last Post, Threads or Posts (or the bar in which they reside) at the top of my main forum either. So that would explain why I can't find the "forumhome_seperate_forumcats", Would some be kind enough as to guide me through how I would add this back to my forum Please?

Well, ok, but how did You manage it to change this columns?
On this pic You can see the "Forum, Last Post, Threads or Posts"-bar UNDER the name of the forum.

That's part of the limitations of doing this with a simple plugin
This mod is about doing it without template edits. There are template modifications to do this in a better way.

Can you point me (if necessary via pm) to the right direction? Because I tried several template edits mods on this forum, but either the first forum is not aligning, or otherwise the "last thread text" get's under 20-25 signs, which I don't want.

Hey thanks...I also found the code in all three templates and replaced the code like you said from your post on page 1. This re-aligned all the forums under "Last Post"....Thanks again for a great hack! :up:

Hi there,

Is there a way that this mod can make more space between the categories bigger?

I just want to increase the gap a little bit more between the categories. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or if this is even possible?...thanks!
