Features include global settings, advertisements allowing template conditionals, ad sharing and ad revenue sharing, timed advertisements, preset popular ad locations and functions such as sponsors, additional custom ad locations, random and static advertisements and its all very easy to use. You can use it for ordinary ads like adsense, banner rotations, or any content at all as well as using it to manage ads outside your forum too.
If you are using autoinsertion and were using vB Ad Management before version 4.00, you will need to remove your old template edits or advertisements will appear multiple times. Just reverse the old instructions below.

When I turn on the ad master switch ... it disables my entire footer template.
Are you using the Google Analytics feature? Does it still disable the footer template if you turn footer advertisements off via the vB Ad Management CP?
one issue tho. in global options, Do NOT display advertisements to Usergroups:; user groups added still see the header ads, but not the post bit ads.
is it meant to do that? i would rather that if I set a group to "Do NOT display advertisements to Usergroups:" they see no ads anywhere.
Download the updated ZIP, upload the new product (Set overwrite to Yes) and that should fix it. Sorry 'bout that.

They both update the footer in exactly the same way, so I'm stuck for the moment as to why this is happening. Could be because you have a heavily customised footer, I can't reproduce the problem on my default setup. I might need to take a look at your forum AdminCP myself, I'll get back to you tomorrow.

What is in the screenshot is the threadbit area. For ads to show in the postbit, you must post your code in the postbit code section and the below that check "Yes" where it asks if you want to enable adverts with posts. If you do not want adverts in the threadbit as in your screenshot, you must disable that section. If you do want threadbit adverts then you should double-check the code you have entered for it. The blank space would not show up if you had not entered code. If you're having problems getting what you want to show up, post the advertisement code here and I'll have a look.
Thanks Red Tigger. I've downloaded the updates but not yet installed. Still thinking about some decent ads (I am not into Google - don't find their ads entirely appropriate for my site).
This is a great hack, for which I am most grateful. Been looking for something like this for a long time. It is particularly useful for those who have trouble with coding and with understanding how (and where) to install ads - like me, for example.
