Features include global settings, advertisements allowing template conditionals, ad sharing and ad revenue sharing, timed advertisements, preset popular ad locations and functions such as sponsors, additional custom ad locations, random and static advertisements and its all very easy to use. You can use it for ordinary ads like adsense, banner rotations, or any content at all as well as using it to manage ads outside your forum too.
If you are using autoinsertion and were using vB Ad Management before version 4.00, you will need to remove your old template edits or advertisements will appear multiple times. Just reverse the old instructions below.
Quote:
* Find <!-- post $post[postid] popup menu --> and paste $postbit_advertisement above it in your postbit & postbit_legacy templates.
* Paste $forumbit_advertisement at the bottom of your forumhome_forumbit_level1_post and forumhome_forumbit_level2_post templates.
* Paste $threadbit_advertisement at the bottom of your threadbit template.
* Paste $footer_advertisement at the top of your footer template.
* Find $spacer_close in your footer template and below it paste $rightcolumn_advertisement.
* Find in your header template and replace it with $header_advertisement.
* Find $spacer_open in your header template and below it paste $leftcolumn_advertisement.

Installed and tested it for a day. It works great. Thank you!
I noticed the time delay to load pages now. Is it because of additional server load? Currently I use your tool for header and postbit ads. If the server load is too much of a problem, I may just hardcode the header ad, keeping vb-ad-mgmt just for postbit. If anyone else has the problem with page loading time, please discuss the ways to fix it.
I am using vBlog and I want to show on a members blog the members adsense code, so that the member can make money with his blog. If the member does not have an adsense code, I want to use my own code.
How do I realise this?
I was thinking of placing this in a vblog template (field6 is the Adsense Pub ID specified by the blog owner in his profile):

Is there a way to have specific sets of ads show up in specific forums? I installed this mod, but I need the ability to have forum specific advertising to show up in the threads, after the last post. This gives the advertisements their maximum implact since they are directed towards the specfic topics covered in that particular forum

Design: Blue Lagoon Very soon, yes. In this version....no.
I had the same problem, and it was because I'd forgotten something. It was either I hadn't uploaded all the files (or they weren't uploaded completely) or I hadn't imported an XML file. It was definitely one of the two.
