Features include global settings, advertisements allowing template conditionals, ad sharing and ad revenue sharing, timed advertisements, preset popular ad locations and functions such as sponsors, additional custom ad locations, random and static advertisements and its all very easy to use. You can use it for ordinary ads like adsense, banner rotations, or any content at all as well as using it to manage ads outside your forum too.
If you are using autoinsertion and were using vB Ad Management before version 4.00, you will need to remove your old template edits or advertisements will appear multiple times. Just reverse the old instructions below.
Quote:
* Find and paste $postbit_advertisement above it in your postbit & postbit_legacy templates.
* Paste $forumbit_advertisement at the bottom of your forumhome_forumbit_level1_post and forumhome_forumbit_level2_post templates.
* Paste $threadbit_advertisement at the bottom of your threadbit template.
* Paste $footer_advertisement at the top of your footer template.
* Find $spacer_close in your footer template and below it paste $rightcolumn_advertisement.
* Find in your header template and replace it with $header_advertisement.
* Find $spacer_open in your header template and below it paste $leftcolumn_advertisement.

Yeh, but I for one would like the advert (C) to be either above or below, and surely with the hooks in vB these days this should be achievable within the Mod?
Well the easiest way is to add a space to the end of your copyright text in vBulletin Options > Site Name/etc or the vBulletin copyright phrase if you edited it.
That doesn't work. It automatically gets rid of the space.

Afraid not. But to have it below (which is where it's supposed to be, in some forums it is and in some it isn't) do the same as I instructed kiFF, but instead of a space add a
.
Have a couple questions. What is the literal path for the banners? I cant get them to show. Is the sitename/forums considered the root path? Also, I have a 'remove advertisements' link that when I click on it, the screen just goes entirely white. Any suggestions for this newbie?
If you add a
, then you also have to add a
at the end of the Ad Management copyright, which you can't do. But there is no reason to do that either. Instead of the non-breaking space code I gave you, use what RedRyder suggested, a line break:
I just tried to install this on my new vbulletin board. My entire site whited out and was unusable untill I uninstalled it? Anyone else have this problem?
