Reported post creates new thread. · **Released**: 06-13-2005

This plugin modifies the reported post system to create a new thread in a pre-selected forum and disables the send of reported post e-mails. This is a port of the version run on our forums, which is based on the original Xenon hack. This is posted with his permission.

Version 2.01 is now released as a product. Download the xml file and then import it into your forum using the product manager.

Everything you need is now imported - there is also no need to edit the plugin anymore - instead you set the id of your reported posts forum in the vBulletin Options > General Settings area.

If you wish to upgrade from version 1 then delete the current plugins and template associated with this hack - then import the product - and set the forum id in the vb options.

This mod cannot prevent multiple reports of the same post, nor can it send PM's.

This mod (like all of my vb 3.5 mods) will not have any further work done to it as vb 3.6 is now the current standard (or at least about to be).

i spent about 20 minutes tracking down the hack that was interfering w/ post creation.. it's this one.. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...or+mods+admins .. do you know of any way i can run both and make them both cooperate? plz.. i really don't want to lose either of these hacks

Is there a way to make it so that you can set which user creates the new thread, instead of having the member who reported it?

Also, will this override any permissions, if I were to use it in a staff forum for example?
