vBa CMPS: users registered today

This will add a "Registered Today" (actually in the last 24 hours) to your Stats box.

Add a phrase:
Global
Varname: reged_today
Text: Registered Today

In the adv_portal_stats template:

Find:

$vbphrase[top_poster]: <a href="$vboptions[bburl]/member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$topposter[userid]">$topposter[username]</a> ($topposter[posts])<br />

Below add:

$vbphrase[reged_today]: ($newusers[count])<br />

Open modules/stats.php

Find:

$newuserid = $userstats['newuserid'];

Add below:

$newusers = $DB_site->query_first('
SELECT COUNT(*) AS count 
    FROM ' . TABLE_PREFIX . 'user
    WHERE joindate >= "' . strtotime("-1day") . '"
');
$newmembers = number_format($newusers['count']);

Where it states "welcome to our newest member", can this mod be changed to list out the last x amount of users by name

@MustangLisa, Are you sure you are using vBadvanced http://www.vbadvanced.com ? It's a stock template added in their system.

Works on 3.0.7. How could I get it to list which members joined instead of the number? If 8 members joined, could it display them like this? -

I just installed this mod and it does add one query in the front page :ermm:

I will leave it for now, but I guess if many queries accumulate in the front page, this mod will be one of the first ones to go...
