Solved!
Ok for those of you who use Firefox 2.0.0.6 or anything under that, and have been unable to see the visualizations off of this mod, I am here to tell you how. Whether you do it or not, I don't care. Dream is incorrect that it has to do with the WMP plug in, but it could be that on other browsers, or perhaps FF dependant upon any existing add-ons or plug ins you have. Not discrediting Dream just stating fact here, and on both of my pc's it was the same issue, not the WMP plug in but actually Active X. First of all I highly recommend reading this thread and choosing your method of troubleshooting this: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=206213 I started off with the approach of "WMP Plug in", did not work, did not help anything. Firefox Plug In for Media Wrap was in about my 2nd or 3rd hour of search and that improved it, but still did not show the visual. It improved it I guess in a sense that it added another advertisement line in the WMP display on this Radio Add On. I told my coder and he said did you look at the Active X option. I was like, "no". Went to a test page and that was exactly it. It wasn't showing embedded WMP audio or video. What's odd is that the thing would always play the audio and in some cases it still should as the browser can pick up that information easy. But it wasn't picking up video. Another damn hour later and I finally found the plug in. However it claims not to use it on other browsers, as it might only work on 1.5, the latest version I found which is a test version. However it also states in that long post on Mozilla Line that this plug in ONLY unlocks Active X to play audio/video for WMP. It will let nothing else in. So I gave it a shot thinking, it probably won't work but what the heck I want to see visuals and use FF! So I dl'd it, and it completely works perfectly. No security issues so far at all either. Here is the link to the webpage that has the plug in on it, but there are so many links you might not find it easily: http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/plugin.htm If you can't find it, see attached image or follow attached link for image whichever this post allows, because I cannot direct link it as it's a javascripty DL that, then close firefox and re-open it. It will work after that. Thus concludes our tutorial. Proof shown in image below: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v3...rent=busy2.gif |

Cool, thanks for the info.
However I suspect this makes use of <object> instead of <embed>, thus using a different plugin, the one that has visualization, that backs my initial assessment. Oh and please click "Mark as Installed" if you want to receive updates of this mod. |

I did as you stated, and I need to do that for the 3 other mods our website has dl'd. Thanks Dream for a great hack, and I'm glad it can work for as many browsers as possible. Legion of Angels |

Another question while were on the subject.
Where is the ID number of the Radio Stations? You ask in the Admin CP of the Add-On to state a station ID number to auto-start, if you leave blank it will be random. Where do we get the ID numbers? |

If you mouse over a station name link, in the status bar you'll see the station ID. Something like openStation(XX).

I think the next modification down the road should allow users to select there own favorite station to auto start up upon loading the Radio Stations Add On.
------------------------- Secondly taking me back to a noob here, I cannot seem to figure out how to add certain Internet Radio Stations that don't obviously show the .xml file or what not, for example take a look at this website: http://www.pandora.com/backstage Now they have internet radio stations but i cannot seem to find the proper files to add the channels. I think a tut for "where to look for stations" would be great. I could even make it in a post here with PS, but I need to know myself, lol. |

You need to check the HTML code of the page you want to get the streaming URL from. You need some understanding of coding to do this. It's usually inside <object> and/or <embed> tags.
There are "where to look for stations" links in the third post of this thread. Setting favorites as default stations was planned, but wasn't implemented because I couldn't decide where to place buttons for it. |

Is this the best way i can intergrate the Radio stations link in to CMPS?
<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="/forum/radiostations.php" target="blank">LCN Radio</a></td> |

Not sure as I don't use vBa. Maybe someone else can help you.

I basically "wrapped" the radiostations.php with the CMPS.
Its an integration function that comes with the vBadvanced. |
