This mod's vB 3.6.x version has been abandoned. The new vB 3.7.x version is here.
This will add a radio and TV library to your forum.
Features:
- Users can add / delete / edit own stations
- Favorite stations
- Report broken / duplicate stations
- Full AJAX
- Plays Windows Media Player, Real Player and Quicktime streams
- and more...
This is awesome but your promoting it short calling it a radio station addon
I agree - This modification is the best thing that's happened to vB in a long time - since Living Avatars and NoSpam! --- Definitely a must have! Nominated for MOTM! Excellent Excellent modification! My Members are going to ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS - and may even make it for Premium users OR have some function available for my Contributors and VIP groups that regular Members don't have!
AWESOME addition - I'm so very happy about this release!
VERY NICE WORK DREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Question - What is the javascript.php for - It's in the download folder - but the is not included in the instructions - or did I miss something?

I was going to ask the same question... but I looked in the product XML and that entire javascript.php file is in the product XML, so it's not really needed, I guess.
You can add indian channels if they are compatible with Windows Media Player.

You know? I was looking for someone to do this for my board, the minimum was $350 USD, but if you add an Ad System, we can recover some $$$ for the bandwidth... Got the code...
Does uses Quicktime/RealPlayer/WinAmp?
Can I just authorize paid subscribers [sorry, I'm more a bizman :P]
Thanks! great-great-greeeat!
Just Windows Media Player. There are no permissions to listen to Radio Stations, just to add stations.
You can donate that $350 for me if you want

Granted it needs some work (doesn't adjust the windows to fit the video) but heres a few to try.
Theres loads of streams too so your always going to be able to offer some real media experience to your members.
You can use this for TV streaming if you want. Just a little edit in RADIOSTATIONS_PLAYER and RADIOSTATIONS_STATION_TABLE templates to make the player bigger and you are set.

and by the way... any options to disable some of them... coz it is counting 26 queries. hehehe
Well I didn't give much attention to making less queries because the main page is not heavy duty, it won't be opened that often so it's ok.

Thanx --- I sorta figured as much - too lazy to browse the XML LOL
