About this hack:
One of the biggest problems on forums as you may know is 'posts boosting'. There are users who LOVE to say 'thanks' when ever they can. How can it hurt? Their post count goes up, they have nothing to loose.
There are also users who really like to express their thanks to post but don't like posting a post that looks like they're post boosting.
Then comes the moderators who have to delete people's thanks yous so a thread can look readable with out the thanks yous thrown around.
Finally comes the posters of these useful posts. They have no idea how many people really likes their posts if only some people say 'thanks'.
What this hack does is fix ALL these problems - except those users who like post boosting. This places a button called 'thanks.' When a user clicks on it, it places his username in a box right under the post saying that so-and-so says 'thanks' for the post. Every-one who clicks is placed in one box.
By giving your users the extra feature, you forum will look allot nice and organized. It is a guaranteed liking by ALL the members of your forum.

FIX: Fixed problem with giving thanks using Blazer (palmOS browser).
Basically I had the old version of 3.6.6 and upgraded the forum to 3.7.0 gold.
- I installed 7.4 thankyou mod worked fine with 3.7.0 gold until I decided to re-install the mod because **all** the thanks where not aligned properly, hence the problem started.
- Once I re-installed 7.4 Thankyou mod, it did not function at all, no buttons displayed even thou all the template edits were in place and the hack was enabled.
- I removed $template_hook[profile_stats_pregeneral] from memberinfo_block_statistics template and it started to work instantly.... no idea why that was.
---- A NEW PROBLEM DISCOVERED // not fixed. ---
**all** the thanks are not aligned/straight properly under the thread, that is the reason why I originally re-installed the mod, and still did not fix the problem.

Turn off the markup username option in postthanks.
Can some one who is getting a token error tell me where? This hack does not use any forms.
Abe1,
based on the comments my users made, I would say the problem is related with the AJAX request as some people told me that they were just reading the thread and, without doing anything, the missing token error page was being presented.
Some other users said that the error page was being showed when clicking the Thank you button, but it may be the same problem in both cases.
Hey,
I have just installed this, and it is not working anywhere on any styles (even default one). Nothing shows up in postbit, no button shows up even (any yes, i have put a post_thanks.gif in each style under 'buttons'). I have used vbulletin for several years now, and am experienced in installing mods, so I can assure you I have followed your instructions.
These are the instructions I followed, is there something I missed?
Quote:
1) upload the 'upload via ftp' folder
--------------------------------------------------------------------
post_thanks.php -> \
post_thanks_admin.php -> \admincp\
post_thanks.js -> \clientscript\
functions_post_thanks.php -> \includes\
cpnav_post_thanks.xml -> \includes\xml\
hooks_post_thanks.xml -> \includes\xml\
post_thanks.gif -> \images\buttons\ (and into EVERY "buttons" folder in every style you have)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Import product-post_thanks.xml into PRODUCTS. Allow Overwrite "YES" (admincp -> Plugin System -> Manage Products -> [Add/Import Product])
