PhotoPlog: The Lite Gallery Details »» | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
PhotoPlog: The Lite Gallery PhotoPlog Lite is a gallery script for GIF, JPG, and PNG images. PhotoPlog Lite comes with categories, permissions, comments, search, moderation. The installation takes care of phrases, templates, tables, etcetera. Just follow the README.txt file for installation. There is a license agreement that I request that you abide. Thanks! This thread is organized as follows:Fine Print: see license agreement, no redistribution, copyright retained in full, right reserved to uncheck support box. Requirements: vB 3.5.0+ (development initially based on having vB 3.5.4 though vB 3.6.0+ and vB 3.7.0+ should be okay, but not every version was personally tested) and MySQL 4.1+ (development based on having MySQL 4.1+ though MySQL 3+ may be okay, but not every version was personally tested) and PHP with GD2 and Safe Mode off Does it work on vB 3.5 and vB 3.6 and vB 3.7? Yes, it should. See the requirements. Also, there are two product XML files, one for vB 3.5 and one for vB 3.6/3.7, so import the one that matches your vB version. Live Demo and Official Support: http://www.photoplog.com/ Note on Official Support: With 70 some pages, assuming 15 posts per page, and over 1000 posts, all in one thread, official support for this mod is now held off-site. Apologies in advance for possibly having to register at yet another forum, but IMHO support would be better served elsewhere at this point. All support requests, except perhaps for proven bugs, may be ignored if posted in this thread. Comments, suggestions, etcetera are welcome, but please note that further modifications are not being planned, as this is intended as the final release of the lite series. Fun Fact: PhotoPlog Lite v.2.0.6 had 4330 downloads plus 2262 downloads prior to CSRF protection plus 3031 downloads as of 06 Nov 2010! Show Your Support

Hello,
I was hoping would be able to shed some light. Whenever I am using WYSIWYG editor, I am unable to post comments because I get the "message too short" message. When I go into standard mode, the problem dissappears. Now here is the thing--if that would be the only thing, I would just add a note telling my users to switch when using the photoplog. However... if a person has the WYSIWYG editor as default, none of the buttons on the editor can be clicked on, including the one that lets you change back and forth between the editors. Does someone have a solution for this? I have tried logging on to photoplog.com, but, for some reason, it never logs me in although it tells me I have. So any help I can get from here will be greatly appreciated! |

Interesting...
Here is what I have found out. When I go to usercp and change my editor to standard, I can post comments without any problems. If I also change it to WYSIWYG editor using the toolbar in the message interface, I can still post the comments, although it locks the toolbar and I can no longer go back to standard unless I refresh the page. Now here is the kicker... When I go to usercp and I make WYSIWYG editor my default editor, I get the "too short" message no matter what I do, so there is an obvious link to what editor is set as default and the error message. I would LOVE to post this in photoplog.com, but I cannot log in at all. At least I now know what is causing this problem... now if only I could get some help in fixing it. |

Awesome mod! Kinda tricky to make it fit my own template, but it looks great now!
No bugs or error messages so far either. |

How can I make the uploaded picture open in a new window instead of the same when I click on it in the galley?

Hi guys,
really hope this editing could be haelpfull. I installed Photoplug in a subdirectory... it means that when the users go to Photoplog they temporary leave the forum. In order to give them the chance to go back to the forum home page, even to the newest users, in photoplog_sub_navbar I added this code: <td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="http://forum.yourdomain.com/">Back to forum's home page</a></td> at the end before: </tr> </table> <br /> </if> Hope you enjoy Steve |
