Hi,

I'm getting this message, probably when someone register to my forums, as I normally receive messages everytime someone register to the forums.

"Could not find phrase 'newuser'."

Can you check that your Facebook application settings are completely correct?

You need to fully remove the other facebook addon. The mod is complete, only a very few things need to be done, and this isn't a problem with this mod.

Since the Facebook users can do more than just login (publish feeds etc), the table vbnexus_facebookuser contains their userid and on/off flags for their Facebook userCP settings.

I hope that helps

Thanks
That helps alot. I should be able to throw together a script to move the data over.

I do have a couple of questions on the vbmexus_facebookuser table. This functionality is handled globaly on the Facebook Connect mod (at least from what I can tell). Can I leave this empty during my import or should I try to populate it with generic defaults for each user?

Also is the ID the local VB id or the Facebook ID?

Thanks again.

Nice mod and as peggy mentioned it does conflict with one of the auto thread tagging mods.

I need to finish testing and setting it up but so far it is a fantastic addition to the forum.

im getting the same problem as the user you replied to, i had the other facebook mod installed and i do believe i completely removed it. what are the settings for the application supposed to be besides the callback? at first i was receiving fatal errors when setting up the templates, but now im just receiving the application error attempting to publish to facebook.

i think i figured out my problem with the feed templates, and im not sure what is going on here...

the feed templates are all using the ID# 2147483647, when the ID numbers for the feeds that were successfully created in the facebook application are all different. when i attempt to set the feed templates to the correct ID #'s and hit save, the number reverts back to 2147483647 no matter what. i have attempted to edit these settings in the SQL table itself through phpmyadmin with no success, it still calls to the ID 2147483647, and I even reinstalled the mod with no success...

im going to try and get rid of the tables altogether and reinstall right now.

******

no didn't work, i dropped the nexus tables in phpmyadmin and it is still reverting back to the ID# 2147483647 and calling to this ID for all of the feed templates regardless of what is inserted into the options, whenever i save the options it also reverts back to this id # so thats my only problem with this mod right now

******

oh ok, i see why this is happening. its because my ID #'s are to high for the feed template. 2147483647 is the highest that value will go, because if you set it 1 number lower it saves correctly, but if you set it higher it just stays at that value. my feed ID's are much larger, 138188342072 is one of them...

how can this be fixed?
