I'd like to moderate the first post of new users.
Hello,
I'd like to setup my forum so that I can moderate the first post by new users. I'd like to do this to weed out the spam we're getting while it not effecting the posts shown to our registered, regular, users. I was told I can do this by editing some (custom?) usergroups and using promotions, but would like to ask here for some assistance. Thanks! |

Yes I did, but promotion doesn't work. I have put default usegroup in moderate and create new group. Made promotion that after 1 or more post they move to second group but they still stays in first group. I don't know why it doesn't work . I did everything ok.

Are any of your Scheduled Tasks working? Have you turned off the Promotions Scheduled Task? Are any of the promotions working at all (look in Stats & Logs > Schedules Task Log > Show only entries generated by > user promotions)

Oh, it works, I just didn't know it is updating every one hour. Any chance I can cut this time to 10-15 min?

You can change the time for the Scheduled Task in the Scheduled Task Manager.
