Ajax based with:
Fast and Intelligent chats retrieval through javascript calls to server files (refresh delay configurable per usergroup)

For Those Not able to get images to show up for Channel in chatbox.
To Get Images to Show up on the channel I had to create the same image into 3 files IE: star_sel.gif, star_nosel.gif & star_new.gif . In The Channel Setup I just put Star . I then had to add the images into my Forum Styles /futuris/misc/mgc_cb_evo/channels
Then The images showed up in the Chat Box for channels.
For the life of me I cannot get the Chatbox to show up in my ibproarcade as well as my worldmap, also does not show in profiles nor in editing threads.
As Far as IBProarcade I have made the change to the functions.php file and I have tried both var and no var and did not have both selected in the admin.
What am I dooing wrong? Can someone please help me?
OK Please Help, I have been running The Evo Chat for 24 hrs now and all of the Sudden The Main Channel has stopped working, meaning it is no longer displaying text nor notices. If I type in the chatbox nothing shows but it does show up in the archive for that Channel, I have had to create a New Main Channel, but of course anyone who has already logged in still has the Main channel as their default even though I have changed the defualt in usergroups to the New Main Channel. What has caused this? Can this be fixed ? Is there a way to change all users to the new default Channel?
I have this problem: time to time, the chatbox do not update the messages and when a user try to force the update he get disconnected. This happens even before the "user on line" time expire. Any suggestion ?
Another question: it is possible to change the sound of the new message notification ? If the audio level is high, the doing is really terrific :-)
About the update issue not sure what this is, experienced it myself one time but didn't found the cause.
Anyhow as code has been change for some of those parts in the next release, I'll see.
About the sound, you just have to replace the .fla in clientscript/mgc_cb_evo/sound

P.S.: During the Update, Change to the new version I also have deleted the old files of version 1.0. Even the mgc_cb_evo_js!
I solved it by myself!! It was an error of an missing security token in my Forumdisplay! After testing other functions of my forum, I had to solve this problem. After that I tested another Instal of the MGC Chatbox, and it works fine now!!

In The Channel Creation Folder it States " Don't put the file extension nor the sel/nosel/new suffix. The images must be uploaded in the images/misc/mgc_cb_evo/channels folder."
Should Prob say Create 3 Files each with those extensions and put them in your Styles/Misc/mgc_cb_evo/channels folder.

Everything is standard install nothing special done.
I have listed in the page lists ( worldmap, arcade ) no parenthesis, no enter just as the instructions state.

I'm Sorry I meant to say that in first message yes the messages are all showing up in the archive fine for Main Channel.
The New Channels I have created all work fine as well. I have done maintenance and DB Optimization and counters updates.
