Hello - one other question - our style has a narrow center part for the forum (like on this forum), and when I added the chatbox it has made the center part wider. Our header no longer fits. I can fix the width of the header, but we liked it narrower instead. Is there a way to fix the total width of the chatbox (not just the width of the input area)?

I suggest you try to diminish the chatbox input field size (option in the acp). This should perhaps help for that.
Can you make me a screenshot of the chatbox on your forum with all editor lines collasped (bbcode and smilies) so that I can tell you if it needs more tweaking to keep your header the width it is

So you mean it was working with 0.1.2 and now since the new version it doesn't ?
Have you checked in firefox error console (tools menu) if it does report any error ?

I have adjusted the width of our header, so it all lines up now, but the whole thing is wider than it used to be. I tried decreasing the input field size but it didn't make any difference. Here is a screen shot - it all looks fine, but we'd like the center part narrower if possible.
Man that's very strange. Woudn't you be experiencing the problem of first chat not taken into account when prompt message thing is active ?

Which previous version were you using before upgrading to the new chatbox version ?
If it was the version before I made changes for it to work for everyone on vBadvanced then that might be due to those changes.
It was Evo 0.1.2 and I had it working. Curiously, as a test I added it to "footer" and it appeared functional everywhere except the vBa portal. Could the changes you made to make it compatible with vBa as a module be interfering with it functioning as a variable?
I also tried the vBa module out when I was first having this problem. Oddly enough, it appeared but never seemed to recognize the fact that I was logged in and treated me as a guest. I could see it including chats, but the entry box and relevant buttons were missing. I did not troubleshoot it however, as it was not happy with the column format.

Honestly I don't know.
As far as I know it shall be working with the module. Have you tried to work it around with stangger5 the author of the module ? He's a very motivated guy and always try to help people out.
I have the same problem.
Me too ---> EDIT: If the option "Show a small prompt message in the chatbox" is on, the problem happens (and the prompt message isn't showed at all). If the option is turned off, works fine...

I've reinstalled all the way without success. The issue is still there.
Do you want to see my board and try to figure out what is happening?
