Following is a non-exhaustive list:
Simple install
Ajax based with:
Fast and Intelligent chats retrieval through javascript calls to server files (refresh delay configurable per usergroup)
Edit/update by double-clicking on a chat
Interact on chats through menus and javascript
Many usergroup permissions to limit features according to usergroups
Full configuration of the chatbox display:
Size, position on forum pages, editor layout (either top/bottom input or left/right textarea) and position, number of chats displayed, ...

I think you have not followed the correct instructions.
Seems like you are still having the old version of the php files from the 0.1.1 version of the chatbox. Hit me up on my new forum in the chatbox.
Well I had version 0.1.2. What I did was uninstall the old version as requested in the upgrade readme info since I had a version prior to 1.0 and I also removed all files before uploading the new ones and then install the new product.
I'm sure I have followed the exact instructions. I forgot to say I was testing locally. When it will work I will put it Live.
For the vbadvance error, I think the mistake I made was to not upgrade the module to 1.7... I'll try that later today.
But for the rest, like I said, I just can't do anything in the chatbox.Nothing works. When I click on GO or if I hit enter, the entire page reloads and my forumhome page disappears completely leaving me with a Empty chatbox (without even having the message I just typed).

Well the fact that it doesn't work locally is possible because the js files from yui re retrieved online and perhaps your firewall blocks that.
As I do know you I can install it for you on your forum as a gift to an old client
Thanks for the report it seems that there indeed is bugs... Damn !!
I am adding this up to the todo list and will fix that for the next version planned in january along with some other notifications plugins that will be in the BF package.

Damn i'll be honest, I think the old archives setup was a lot better. I like the new search feature FOR SURE but I don't like how the pages just don't show up automatically. Then again if the drop down box was working I suppose it wouldn't really be all that big of an issue

The new archives dropdown was introduced in order to lower the load on the server (problem of huge amounts of chats to parse which could lead to slowness).

Hey, I tried to install the MGC_Chatbox_Evo_2.0.2, once finished the installation, now can not go into my panel
I took the decision to remove all the files of this hack, but it is the xml that goes from the panel and strip me this error when trying to enter

After watching this, and I could not do anything that I have updated the version of vBulletin 3.7.4 until everything has gone well, and I get to finish the screen to enter the panel but nothing, still the error.
