Ok. You are not making sense now. If it's going to be a 1 click install, and not lose any functionality why ask which type to goto? As in option 1 or option 2. Based on your reply, that isn't the case.
My thoughts...
When upgrades happen, you still will need to re-upload the files, images and XML. So I don't see how much changes. Just less needed user wise to "install" the plugin.
I use the /me command. Hardly any of the others. Are the commands causing the issue from going to a 1 click install? If so, add that as an "addon" then So the base install has all minus the commands. If they want commands they add it.
Yes but in your case you don't need lots of commands but it's not the same for others.
In option 2, this would be a one click install as the commands creation system would disappear
The only thing that would be lost is the possibility to create commands but no-one has released commands so far so I think it's not a needed feature.

You meant you had modified templates of the chatbox and didn't reverted them after upgrading ?
If yes then it's on your hand guy, you must always revert templates upon any update.

Thank's
Remove that file, it's an error it's not needed at all.
I added "$mgc_chatbox" in "navbar", added in "footer" added in "header" but It only shows chatbox in "forumhome". How can I show chatbox in ALL pages?? Please help.

P.S: Sorry. I didnt do the "settings".. It works now. Thanks.

Oops.. No, I'm sorry - I didn't mean to imply I edited the chatbox at all. I use 5 or 6 custom templates and the updated version works well in most cases but I've found that there are things that I can do to cause the style to 'dim' and not return without me hitting refresh (F5).
BBCode and then attempting to insert an image is one such action.
Is there a style sheet option that might be interfering? I reinstalled the chatbox after the update to 3.7.2 and it's still performing as before...
