I installed menu control and added links like Members list, Home (for vBadvanced portal), Calendar, Who's online in menu control. When I click on Home it logs me out of vBulletin. Could it be because in Menu control I can't add the "?$session[sessionurl]" to the link? That's how all the links are in the vbulletin navbar template. Does that keep you from getting logged out?
My site is www.laredoperformance.com. |

Yeah I'm pretty sure that is the problem. Will I be able to add the session hash to links in Menu Control?

"The document name you requested (/forums/memberlist.php$session[sessionurl_q]) could not be found on this server. However, we found documents with names similar to the one you requested." Menu Control is gonna have to go. I guess it's only good for having links to external sites. Because if you add any vbulletin related links, or even links that'll take you to vbulletin hacks like Arcade, you'll still experience login problems because of the lack of the session hash in the link. If you look at all the links in the template, they have the session hash: Code:
<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="faq.php$session[sessionurl_q]" accesskey="5">$vbphrase[faq]</a></td> <td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="memberlist.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[members_list]</a></td> <td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="calendar.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[calendar]</a></td> |

This would be alot nicer if it just took HTML inputs, and had an input field where you could indicate how many menu items there are.
I don't want all links to be local, some would go to another site entirely. Just some suggestions. Nice work otherwise. Also, if no links are set, it should not show at all. Currently it puts a 1px table where the menu should be. |

Is it possible to wrap the entire bar in a conditional to show it to admins only? Could be evry usefull for admin links, the javascript menus could make it even better. Also agree with the pimp.
Thanks for the work so far, I'll check it out later. |
