What this is and does
LDM is a general-purpose tool for managing libraries of links and files, and handling uploads and downloads in a flexible way, while tracking and control user access. It has a range of integrated media players and a large library of 'plugin' extras.
Installation and Usage Explained in the on-line Wiki, with a brief explanation in the file instructions.txt in the release zip.
Please use carefully and always backup your database before upgrading. Post reports of problems and suggestions for enhancements in this thread. You can also find extensive discussion of this mod in the VB3.7 mods section.
14.06.09 Version 2.3.0 is the the officially-supported version. Works with 3.7 and vb 3.8.
14.02.10 Post-1 version uploaded with minor bug fixes, including dealing with PHP 5.2.12
Staff Note: Sadly, Andrew D, the developer of the Links and Downloads Manager has passed away after a long period of illness.
I am roughly 60% of the way through updating the templates for vb 4. Thereafter, everything has to be rechecked to make sure it's all working properly.
Andrew, if you need a test site, give me a shout. I have our site set up under a test environment before we try to upgrade live. The only plugin we are keeping is yours and the integrated Photopost.

Will do - am almost through the first stage of conversion - only five more templates to go, about 195 recoded for vb4. Most features seem to be working correctly.
I just upgraded from 3.8.3 to 3.8.4 PL2 and my forum's home page is displaying as an empty white blank page. I went through possible causes listed at http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/blank_pages and I'm wondering if the following is it:

4. You have a bad plugin installed. To disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
I tried adding that line to my config.php file and the home page now displays. But if I click the Links and Downloads Manager link I get a empty page with the words "No input file specified."
So, is this an issue with LDM or did I screw something up when I upgraded from 3.8.3 to 3.8.4 PL2?

Sorry to hear this. I have just applied the upgrade to vb 3.8.4pl2 on my test system and do not experience the problem you are describing. Have you tried disabling GZIP compression using your vb acp - Go to vBulletin->admincp->vBulletin options->Cookies and Header Options, disable GZIP HTML Output, go back to one of the pages that was causing problems and try again. PHP error messages create white pages when this option is selected. Another possibility is that one of the php files was not correctly uploaded for vb 3.8.4.
If necessary, I am willing to take a look at your site, but will need full access (FTP and admin).
