Modification Description

This modification allows you to manage tournaments and ladders on your forum. It provides interactibility both for forum members and forum admin.

Tournament Types:

• Single Elimination Tournaments
• Last Man Standing Tournaments
• Double Elimination Tournaments
• Round Robin Tournaments also called all-play-all tournament
• Double Round Robin

Ladder Description:

Users or teams can join ladders and challenge other players or teams in the ladder. Elo rating system is used which calculates the difficultly of a match according to the players' ranks and this is taken into account when the ranks are updated after the match is finished.

  • All pages are XHTML valid
• Tournament Features
  • Hall of Fame (Top 10 Tournament Players)
  • Permissions can be set per usergroup
    (AdminCP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> {Select Usergroup} -> Tournament Permissions)
  • Tournaments start automatically when no slots are left
  • Tournaments have proper Date/ Time converted to users timezone and DST
  • 3 Tournament Modes: Last Man Standing, Single Elimination, Double Elimination and Round Robin
  • Filter Tournaments Displayed according to Tournament Status
  • Tournament User Stats Page
  • 'Start Tournament' for Single Elimination adds bye players and creates brackets
• Tournament options
  • Turn on/off tournament
  • Create Thread on Tournament Creation
  • Require check-in before tournaments
  • Tournament Stats in Member Profile
  • Tournament Stats in Postbit (Can be turned on/off in Tournament Options)
  • Comments per page
  • Tournament description length shown in tournament List

  • LMS realtime ranking shows if players are equal positions

  • Tournament creator and last edited by notes at bottom of tournament

1. Follow instructions included in .zip
2. Click Install

One small bug. If you turn off Leagues in settings, the uncategorized leagues list still shows up on the competitions front page.

I still think those uncategorized lists shouldn't even show up if there's nothing for them to list. For my forum, there will never be any uncategorized competitions.

How about group play is that sorting you want to work on?

And maybe make all matches on tournaments count on the ladder and still give more xp/elo for top 3?

one more small bug. if u do not check the check-in option, in the new tournament list of players there is still link to check in that gives an error.

would also like to see the option for comments to be posted in the created forum thread.

Yes just like it...

ex:

groups play same day, all play all and winner gets x points for a win and x for a draw and top "2" from each group advance to playoff

How do I edit the max allowed image pixel size for Team icons? The image quality is completely destroyed at the moment. I'd like to increase the size to at least fill that space.

I uploaded files, imported the product. I set up the permissions and when I try to enter tournament site i have MySQL Error : Table 'xxxxxxxxxxxx.tmnt_categories' doesn't exist
Do i have to add something manually to my database?
