Following is a non-exhaustive list:

• Simple install
• Ajax based with:
  • Fast and Intelligent chats retrieval through javascript calls to server files (refresh delay configurable per usergroup)
  • Edit/update by double-clicking on a chat
  • Interact on chats through menus and javascript

How do I set the chatbox to be on for all users by default in the User CP? Right now when a user signs up it is off and I can't find where this option is to force it to default to on.

Read the readme included with the product. You know, that item explaining how to install it in the first place you had to read.

It's usergroup settings btw.

I'm having a problem with removing the chatbox, I seemed to of done something wrong when installing (fresh install) and now I have the following displayed above the top of the forum on the homepage.

I have removed the uploaded files from the forum and run uninstall from the Product manager, or rather tried to. It just goes to a white screen displaying the code that appears at the top of the forum home page.

Any help would be much appreciated

I want the thing circled in red to default to yes when a new member registers. Currently it defaults to no.

Registered users is where you set it to display it by default. The option you are showing is AFTER they are logged in. That's after the fact, that they logged in. That's a UserCP setting AFTER their usergroup takes precedence. Hence USER selects. It's simple.

Reupload the files. Reinstall it, then read the README file and FOLLOW the uninstall instructions and you will be fine. You didn't follow them upon uninstall from what it looks like.

I'll try installing on my test forum this time to make sure I have it right before putting it back onto the live forum.

Glad to hear it's working. I've done that before and it was because I missed one simple step or file.

Not to mention doing it in the middle of the night and half asleep.
