Put Adsense Banners in Your Archive · **Released**: 11-06-2005

This product is a simple one that will get you started in adding Google adsense banners to the top and bottom of your archive pages:

To install: Import the product. Change the two plugins to use the adsense code for your site (instead of mine - unless you are feeling generous) and to arrange its positioning as desired.

To upgrade: Uninstall the old product. Install the new one.

Smiry, if you can't be bothered to read support threads before posting questions, please do not request support for my mods. If I can take the time to give you code, you can take the time to read the thread before you post.

I haven't upgraded to the new vbulletin yet. When I have time to do so, I will update any mods that need updating.

I get this error when I try to edit the plugins to insert my own ads:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /archive/index.php(453) : eval()'d code on line 3

That's because you have to escape the quotes now. It's a royal pain in the patoot.

open in notepad your archive header and footer code and just make a simple find and replace

One comment to Tefra's suggestion. You can't escape the first and last quotes that are wrapped around the banner code.

Or use single quotes so php doesn't have to waste time parsing text.
