Goldbrick Media system for vBulletin 3.7

Thanks to all who nominated or voted this for MOTM.

Some of you might be looking for Anymedia. Well this has replaced it. It's a total rewrite from the ground up. A huge thanks goes to Sir Adrian for creating the framework. He can't cook soup but he sure can code.

Why the name goldbrck?

From Wikipedia:

Goldbricking, in today's terms, generally refers to staff who use their work internet access for personal reasons while maintaining the appearance of working.

From Urban Dictionary:

Goldbricking: To loaf or goof around on the job. Supposedly an old union term describing laborers (or more specifically, bricklayers) who were going so slow, it was as if each brick were made of solid gold. One can alse be referred to as a "goldbricker".

Dude, I spent all day at work goldbricking - surfing the web, making long distance phone calls - basically just picking my ass.

Goldbrick uses the following third party Products:

• Highslide Javascript. I've packaged it with the 3.1 download. Please read the license agreement on highlide's website. In short it's free for non-commercial use. http://vikjavev.no/highslide/

Install Instructions:

1. Upload file contents in the upload folder.
2. Import the Product.xml

Supported Video Sites: 19 so far. Looking in goldbrick/sites folder for a full list. Users can create their own. I'll post a HOW-TO with the details.

Alright - I have a problem when using flash chat boxes - where the typing should appear, I get this message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ')' in /home/sites/3-cubed.net/public_html/forum/goldbrick/plugins/bbcode_create.php on line 53

So I have disabled GoldBrick for now - any advise appreciated!

Try this. Just replace the old bbcode_create.php file with the one in the zip.

Ok, that's fixed the chatbox bug. However, now when I go to post using the media tags, I hit submit and end up on a white page with this error message -

What version of php are you running?

4.4.8, but supports php 5 - perhaps I need to change the extension to .php5 or set 5 as default in my hosting control panel. I used to have anymedia running alongside a chatbox and it worked fine - but that was on vbulletin 3.6.8 - I'm now running 3.7 beta 4 and upgraded from anymedia to goldbrick as it is 3.7 specific.

Also, I'm getting this in the AdminCP:

Allowed Media Extensions
Check to enable media file types. An error occured while processing the bitfield files, the following information was returned:

It doesn't show the extensions... and while it's kinda cool, the Image feature isn't good for me. I'd rather use basic img tags, and this auto formats all image links posted. And I can't seem to turn it off! Any ideas?
