This is the 3.6.X-Version of my vBi-Gallery for vBulletin.

It's an update to this hack:

This gallery-system integrates completly into vB, because it's a modification of the forum itself and uses the attachment-system of vb.

Therefore, it's neccessary to be sure, that the attachment-system is working and it's possible to create thumbs. Otherwise, the gallery won't work.

Btw, I want to thank all the people here, which are using this gallery.

Double checked it, is ok. Just copied and pasted from the install instructions, using dreamweaver. Not sure what's causing the problem.

Not with this version.

The full version of vBi-Gallery 2 do have this feature.

Hello Harald,

I like your work, but I want to ask that is there a way to post images from external website URLs?
using IMG BBcode [ img ] http://www.imageshack.us/folder/image.gif [ /img ]

Actually i have (very short) limited free space on my server to upload images, so i would like to use only linked images in gallery.

No, this will not work, as this version uses the attachment-system of vbulletin. The full version of vBi-Gallery 2 will be able to do so.

The german version will be released in about two week, i guess. After this, i will remove all hardcoded text (as there still is ) and translate it all into english. I hope to finish the work in about a month.

The full version will not be free, although there will be a light version with lesser features.

This plugin will avoid the file edit on this hack. I'm using it on my dev site and I think I'm going to use it on my live forums.

Create a plugin on the hook "threadbit_display" with this content:

PHP Code:
if ($gallery == true) {

  $vbulletin->templatecache['threadbit'] = $vbulletin->templatecache['gallery_threadbit'];

} 

That's it.
