Modification Description

This modification allows you to manage tournaments and ladders on your forum. It provides interactibility both for forum members and forum admin.

Tournament Types:

• Single Elimination Tournaments
• Last Man Standing Tournaments
• Double Elimination Tournaments
• Round Robin Tournaments also called all-play-all tournament
• Double Round Robin

Ladder Description:

Users or teams can join ladders and challenge other players or teams in the ladder. Elo rating system is used which calculates the difficultly of a match according to the players' ranks and this is taken into account when the ranks are updated after the match is finished.

  • Hall of Fame (Top 10 Tournament Players)
  • Permissions can be set per usergroup
    (AdminCP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> {Select Usergroup} -> Tournament Permissions)
  • Tournaments start automatically when no slots are left
  • Tournaments have proper Date/ Time converted to users timezone and DST
  • 3 Tournament Modes: Last Man Standing, Single Elimination, Double Elimination and Round Robin
  • Filter Tournaments Displayed according to Tournament Status
  • Tournament User Stats Page
  • 'Start Tournament' for Single Elimination adds bye players and creates brackets

  • Create Thread on Tournament Creation

I installed it but not even i can access it for some reason. When i click on it in the navbar i get this message:
"you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:"

I dont see any option in usergroups for permissions for tournaments. Help?

you need to allow the permissions for yourself in the admin area, all the permissions will be set to "no" with the tourny software, just go in the admin cp and select "yes"

I have had a problem finding the directory for this option. Can you please let me know where the option is located. Help is much appreciated.

When i create a new tournament, i receive this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function cal_days_in_month() in /www/htdocs/egbr/forum/tournaments.php on line 1018

Have you uploaded bitfield_tournament2008.xml to \includes\xml\?
