Goldbrick Media system for vBulletin 3.6.x
Thanks to all who nominated or voted this for MOTM.
Some of you might be looking for Anymedia. Well this has replaced it. It's a total rewrite from the ground up. A huge thanks goes to Sir Adrian for creating the framework. He can't cook soup but he sure can code.
Why the name goldbrck?
From Wikipedia:
Quote:
Goldbricking, in today's terms, generally refers to staff who use their work internet access for personal reasons while maintaining the appearance of working.
From Urban Dictionary:
Quote:
Goldbricking: To loaf or goof around on the job. Supposedly an old union term describing laborers (or more specifically, bricklayers) who were going so slow, it was as if each brick were made of solid gold. One can alse be referred to as a "goldbricker".
Dude, I spent all day at work goldbricking - surfing the web, making long distance phone calls - basically just picking my ass.
Goldbrick uses the following third party Products:

He is talking about the media.gif. You need to put that in your current style editor folder. The failed message is because youtube doesn't allow you to not use their videoplayer. So just uncheck that setting and you'll be fine. It will be off in the next update. I'm just finishing this MP3 attachment problem. I also added some other youtube sites. UK and IT version.

i probe with videos of myspace of all sites and always the problem
^ Like nix said, you need to uncheck all the contents under the "Use AnyMedia Player for which video sites?"
To do so .... Admin Control Panel > vBulletin Options > AnyMedia BBCode Options > Scroll all the way down > Use AnyMedia Player for which video sites? > Uncheck everything that you see there ...
Also, the media.gif is not showing up because your installing it in the default style only. You need to add it to the other style via Template Edits as well ...
3.0.6
- MP3s work as attachments now. You have to move your attachment system to file system.
- Added it.yotube and uk.youtube
- Change some of the default settings
To have mp3 attachments play you have to move your attachments from the database to the file system for now. This is the better way of doing it anyway.
I'll have more time for this tomorrow so I'll add some more sites and work on some bugs that you have.
Sounds good nix  ... BTW, all GMGU needed to do was uncheck the items, he gave me admin permissions and i did it, I guess he didnt understand the instructions before ... Atleast with this new release that wont be an issue as its already pre-unchecked ...
