Goldbrick Media system for vBulletin 3.6.x

Thanks to all who nominated or voted this for MOTM.

Some of you might be looking for Anymedia. Well this has replaced it. It's a total rewrite from the ground up. A huge thanks goes to Sir Adrian for creating the framework. He can't cook soup but he sure can code.

Why the name goldbrck?

From Wikipedia:
Quote:
Goldbricking, in today's terms, generally refers to staff who use their work internet access for personal reasons while maintaining the appearance of working.
From Urban Dictionary:
Quote:
Goldbricking: To loaf or goof around on the job. Supposedly an old union term describing laborers (or more specifically, bricklayers) who were going so slow, it was as if each brick were made of solid gold. One can alse be referred to as a "goldbricker".

Dude, I spent all day at work goldbricking - surfing the web, making long distance phone calls - basically just picking my ass.
Goldbrick uses the following third party Products:

I am pretty sure that this question has been asked before but I would like to ask myself for piece of mind.

My forum is quite reliant on members posting videos that are hosted on our own server or others, they are encoded into flv format and posted with media tags around them

Here is an example.

http://www.madamejapan.com/WEMANIACS...18/gdvhhhl.flv

Is there something that I am not doing correctly or a setting somewhere I haven't turned on?

I have recently just imported an old VB forum into the latest release and installed this hack. I have to say that the implementation of Highslide AJAX is quite impressive.

I preferred the old "single, frozen video frame" of AnyMedia 3.0.x.

In the absence of that, how about a way to customize the default image?

Do you mean media links? or just regular urls?

What happens when you post that link on your forum?

I'm going to add the old style back so you'll have a choice. If you want to change the image just upload a new one and overright it.

Also I've fixed the quick-reply and preview post. I really appreciate everyone being patient to get this were it needs to be.

Isn't there supposed to be the players image? All I am getting is a link. If not, is there a way to add the image instead of the link?

Yea its just a template. I have the image in the next version that will be out. If you don't want to wait just edit the anymedia template for mp3's.

what i mean here bro nix is if i post or include all kinds of url's link...even if its not came from video sites...just a normal... like http://www.vbulletin.org or image url link
when i press the preview post button... the media tags overtake it...it will become...

and also if i post image now, it all becomes thumbnail size...or sometimes...they are inside the media player...
i guess i don't like this idea or the styles, or is there any possible solution for all of this not to happen...sorry for that bro...just my 2 cents...

so at the moment i just put back or install the old version..

Hi Nix, thanks for your reply.

I have included a screenshot of what happens when I post that supplied link.

It just doesn't like it.
