Goldbrick Media system for vBulletin 3.6.x
Thanks to all who nominated or voted this for MOTM.
Some of you might be looking for Anymedia. Well this has replaced it. It's a total rewrite from the ground up. A huge thanks goes to Sir Adrian for creating the framework. He can't cook soup but he sure can code.
Why the name goldbrck?
From Wikipedia:
Quote:
Goldbricking, in today's terms, generally refers to staff who use their work internet access for personal reasons while maintaining the appearance of working.
From Urban Dictionary:
Quote:
Goldbricking: To loaf or goof around on the job. Supposedly an old union term describing laborers (or more specifically, bricklayers) who were going so slow, it was as if each brick were made of solid gold. One can alse be referred to as a "goldbricker".
Dude, I spent all day at work goldbricking - surfing the web, making long distance phone calls - basically just picking my ass.
Goldbrick uses the following third party Products:

1. I want to center the Player into the center of the thread
2. It doesn't show footer/download
3. Where can I adjust the size of the player?
Thaaaaanks!
1) Install any bbcode like [center]media_tag_here[/center] and add video with this new bb. Or just edit anymedia template and insert center html code by yourself. Exemple <div align="center"> ALL CODE FROM TEMPLATE HERE </div>.
2) Go to anymedia admincp options and check the option Show the download link?
3) Go to anymedia admincp options and check the option Default Media Object Width and Default Media Object Height.

About my problem, the version 3.0.9.1 dont work with my host (linux).
In windows (localhost) here my test work fine.
And nix, can you fix the problem with accentuated chars in movie titles? Try get an movie from br.youtube.com and test for you see the problem.
Other error from my test here:
Quote:
[media]ajshdadsasdfgsdfsdfgfdg[/media]
Result:
Warning: file(ajshdadsasdfgsdfsdfgfdg) [function.file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in \includes\class_anymedia.php on line 236
Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Bad arguments. in \includes\class_anymedia.php on line 237
Can you add an friendly message error for this action? :P
I will check it, sorry for my possible fake report.
so you're good?

In IE it doesn't show the player at all, just the box with the title of the player and title of the video ... Unless maybe I'm using the incorrect like for PhotoBucket, I used http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e5...t=MOV00857.flv
Anyways, in addition to that, when you click on "edit" to edit a post that has a [media] tag it deletes it from the post after you save. If you try to re-edit it and re-add the code it wont do it. It's really buggy this time. After I saw theis bug, I tried refreshing the page and got the following:
Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Bad arguments. in /includes/class_anymedia.php on line 237
The it said on vB "Unable to add cookies, header already sent.
File: /home/*******/public_html/forum/includes/class_core.php
Line: 3083"
Although, you fixed the other issues where it wasn't loading before on IE and now it does this is a way bigger one ... Might want to take a look into this ...
Fixed this. But everyone should be fine until the next release.

Pretty everything testebr said is h how you do it. Also check your anymedia template and make sure its the latest.
