Some of you might be looking for Anymedia. Well this has replaced it. It's a total rewrite from the ground up. A huge thanks goes to Sir Adrian for creating the framework. He can't cook soup but he sure can code. Why the name goldbrck? From Wikipedia: Quote:

Nix any news on the New Version?
I am now getting the You need to upgrade your Flash Player tags. error, when posting a video from the QuickReply, before (other version) it wasn't happening. Hmmm ... |

This hack is GREAT!
BUT..... When it renders inline a Stage6 video, it takes a 16:9 aspect video on Stage6 and makes it a standard 4:3. Anyway it would be awesome if you could make it display a 16:9 as such and a 4:3 as such without changing the aspect ratio. Stage6 seems to be the only game in town for HD video and we like to keep our 16:9 videos that way. The other thing I noticed is it just generates a side by side media BB code, but that is not as intuitive as it doesn't have directions on what one is supposed to do with the opening and closing BB tags. The other media player had a popup window that was more intuitive. Sure, all of us here know how to use the media bbcodes, but what about the average newbie to a discussion forum? Thanks! |

It will be out tonight or tomorrow. I have it working on my test site. Just looking at a couple of things.
Not sure about the popup. I've been using this hack sense it came out and I've never seen it. All the features that the other one had this one also has. I'm thinking about adding in a setting to use the videos sites default height and width. But not everyone can use that. Some people have narrow forums. @ Features --------------------------------- You're allowed to ... 1. Custom the tag name; 2. Custom the title of the player; 3. Decide which usergroup could see the download link; 4. Use Flash Single Mp3 Player to play the mp3 file; 5. Custom the width & height of the media; 6. Decide whether to make the media autostart by default; 7. Decide whether to collapse the player box by default; 8. Play the Google Videos via proxy; 9. Auto-detect the attachment type; 10. Use AnyMedia player to play attachments; 11. Custom the default value of loop; 12. Filter the AnyMedia BBCodes in Quote tags; 13. Choose which extension could be supported; 14. Choose whether to use AnyMedia Player or not for each supported video site; @ How to Use --------------------------------- Tag without options: [MEDIA]url_of_the_file[/MEDIA] ex. [MEDIA]http://server/file.mp3[/MEDIA] Shown as a mp3 player (Use the flash mp3 player by default). Tag with options: [MEDIA="width, height, autostart, loop, extension"]url_of_the_file[/MEDIA] [MEDIA="width, height, autostart, loop"]url_of_the_file[/MEDIA] [MEDIA="width, height, autostart"]url_of_the_file[/MEDIA] [MEDIA="width, height"]url_of_the_file[/MEDIA] ex. [MEDIA="300,380,yes,2,rm"]http://server/file.mp3[/MEDIA] It will use the real player to play the file.mp3, the object is 300px width, 380px height, it will autostart and will repeat for twice. [MEDIA=250,150,0,3]http://server/file.flv[/MEDIA] It will use the flash player to play the file.flv, the object is 250px width, 150px height, it'll NOT autostart but will repeat for 3 times. [MEDIA=400,480,false]http://server/file.swf[/MEDIA] It will use the flash player to play the file.swf, the object is 400px width, 480px height, and it'll NOT autostart. [MEDIA=421,211]http://server/file.pdf[/MEDIA] It will post the pdf object on the page, the object is 421px width, 211px height. Other Rules: 1.WIDTH and HEIGHT are both required if you want to add options; 2.Available values for the AUTOSTART option: 1, true & yes. 3.Separate the options with commas. |

Updated
3.0.9 - Completely changed Video Site permissions. - Fixed some embed bugs (can't test with IE, so let me know how it goes) - Added Video Titles - Added Sevenload.com - Added Putfile.com - Added photobucket.com (beta) I know the admin options for this is kind of cluttered right now. I'll fix that in a later release. |

Just installed v3.0.9 on my test board. For firefox everything works fine with the exception of dailymotion videos not loading. But in IE if I have multiple videos (from any source) in a thread it only loads the first video then spits out a "Error on Page" warning which says
Quote:
Code:
<body onload="if (is_ie || is_moz) { fetch_object('currentPost').scrollIntoView(true); }"> I've tried upgrading from every other previous version including v3.0.4. I've also tried a clean install removing everything to do with anymedia beforehand. Cleared cache and cookies, restarted the browser all have no effect. |
