Insert [disable][SWF][/disable] vBcode shortcut button to posting screens
Now out of beta!
I wrote this to help someone out from vbulletin.com, but after realising it is actually a hack I deleted it and converted it into text instructions.
What does it do?
When a user is posting a new message (and they have the option turned on in their User CP), there is a set of input buttons designed to be "shortcuts" to some of the more popular vBcodes (such as url, img, etc). This hack adds an SWF button next to the IMG button.
The user is presented with a popup in which they enter values (url, width, height) to be converted to an SWF vBcode, and the code is automatically inserted into the message (just like the other vBcodes).
Note: this hack also outlines the process involved in setting up the SWF tag
Extra Notes
- I can be reached via PM for limited support (this is my first hack).
- If there's a demand for it, I will also include other vBcodes to the hack (so reply if you want more!)
[disable][disable][/disable] vBcode has been requested, and is being worked on.

OK figured it out, only took two ticks. After you paste the code into the template, you need to remove the before the SWF button, otherwise you get runtime errors. Running smoothly now on 2.2.6. Thanks!
I have some extra editions I added if you view the beta hack of this, for example only allowing it in HTML enabled forums / only allowing it in specific forums (by their id). Take alook at the beta hack for the instructions on how to install.
I could probably figure out your request but I'm short on time and need to continue working on my forums, sorry

Where Off is standard!!
I'm sure there would be, but it's far beyond my capabilities.
Just so you are aware ... flash footers have been known to be used as a tool to fetch a users password via it's cookie. This is one reason why FLASHKIT has banned flash footers.
