This modification will allow your members to RSVP to events on the vBulletin calendar. By default, members can respond "Yes," "No," or "Maybe," as to whether or not they will be able to attend an event, but you can modify or add to the list of responses members are presented with as you desire.
Features
Specify some or all of your calendars to use the RSVP system.
Set whether an event accepts RSVPs during event creation / edit.
Allow members to specify if they will be bringing a guest.
Event owners can set the maximum number of guests each member may bring.
Events can be set to close RSVPs on the day of the event or before.
RSVP comments (up to 65k character limit, configurable)
Timestamped RSVPs
Moderators and event owners can remove member RSVPs from events.
Attendance list can be set to display member avatars.
Improved handling of differing timezones and daylight saving times.
Configurable Response options. You aren't stuck with Yes, No, Maybe. You can setup whatever responses you want.
Ability to specify a maximum number of attendees for an event. After the maximum is reached, you can configure members to either receive an error or have their response (RSVP) automatically changed to something else. This could be used to create a wait-list bucket, for instance.

vBulletin v4.0.0 or higher.

Is there a way to have the Calender used for social group events to show up on the main social groups page somewhere where is can be seen?
If you are talking about the screenshot, that is just the name of the calendar I used. Social Group Calendars is another mod and has nothing to do with this one.

Yes I undersatand. I have done the same thing, http://www.flyfishbc.com/forums/cale...p?calendarid=3 But the only way to find this calender is in the default calender? I was wondering if there was a way to make the the calender used for this mode more visible, say in the Social groups.
With the product/plug-in enabled members selecting the What's New tab and then selecting New Events get a blank page. Switching the product/plug-in off gives you the expected screen. Not ideal but workable. I know this a Beta but can you see if you can recreate the error? Thanks.
Just to let you know. When the Avatar and time stamp are enabled there are some formatting issues. The replies are not in line with the avatars. I can send you a screenshot if required. btw my vb4 installation is 100% vanilla.
We organize daily online races on my board and I am with YoBroMoFo, if we can integrate this in a post where people can click that they will attend some kind of sign up list would appear that would be magic.
WOuld reduce 90% of the workload on my forums!!
edit: one question/feature; is it possible to use usergroup permissions? now all users can RSVP
