Introduction
This is a continuation of my Event Forums plugin/addon from 3.5. You can find the old version here. The original plugin was developed by Endquote, and I have since taken it over to bring it to what it is today. I hope you can find it useful! What is this addon? This is a plugin which allows you to create relationships between calendars and events, giving each event a thread of its own for users to discuss. I have tested this alot, and I am running it myself on a live board.Sure, so whats it do? Some examples of the features this plugin offers
Some screenshots of this pluginHow do I install it? For upgrading, please see the section below. Summary Step 1Install the product Step 2How do I upgrade it from an old version?Calendar ID: Step 1Can I give you money to make this?Import xml This isn't a commercial plugin, and can be used by anyone for free. However, a few people have said to me that they would like to donate some money for my time working on the plugin and for picking it up and continuing the development of new features etc. If you do want to donate some money my way, then you can do so through paypal by clicking this link. Thanks!Bugs / Support If you find a bug, then please post in this thread and let me know. There are a few bugs that haven't been fixed since the old version, so i'm hoping that we can fix these soon. I will do my best to support the plugin as much as possible, however I also have a busy job which takes up alot of my time. i have a slight issue, i add like 20 events in one day, and it created a thread per event which I LOVE , the only problem is my forum page will be 20 thread of event then people post, so i though i would do is move the thread to another forum which i only have access and as events get closer move them back to main forum, the only problem with this is it breaks the link between the thread and the event ... is there any solution for this?
Thanks |

This is a great mod and I'm also happy to pay to get this brushed up to work with 3.7 as well as it possibly can. Does anyone know if there is developer actively working on an update to this mod? If not, I might have a go myself.

Hey everyone,
I am having this modification updated as I type this. I don't have time to read through this thread, but if everyone could post the known bugs, as well as feature requests, I can try and get them worked out. Evercraft has graciously given me permission to release the updated modification when it is done. Thank you!! |

Absolutely love this mod. Unfortunately, it caused some problems after I installed the 3.7.2 Patch Level 1. Started getting this error message:
Database error in vBulletin 3.7.2: Invalid SQL: DELETE FROM vb3_moderation WHERE type = 'thread' AND threadid = 2374; MySQL Error : Unknown column 'threadid' in 'where clause' Error Number : 1054 Request Date : Thursday, July 24th 2008 @ 09:44:54 AM Error Date : Thursday, July 24th 2008 @ 09:44:54 AM Script : http://canyoneering.net/forums/calen...p?do=update&e= Referrer : http://canyoneering.net/forums/calen...ype=single&c=1 IP Address : xxx Username : xxx Classname : vb_database MySQL Version : Techs over at .com suggested I disable mods one at a time until the problem went away. It did once I disabled vB Event Forums. Count me among those that hope a fix will be developed. |

Users keep getting their posts thrown into a Moderation queue, and I can't seem to remove them. Been checking all the permissions and I can't seem to find where it might be preventing folks from posting normally.
On top of that when they're posted and put into moderation they aren't showing up as calendar events anymore. Just did a fresh install on everything, running 3.7.2 PL1 also getting the above email errors sent to me ^ anyone having the same issues or ideas to fix? |

ok well it seems one of my usergroups has the ability to post without a problem, but I still can't seem to locate the permissions where I've apparently allowed them to do this. Driving me up the wall ugh.
