NOTE: As of this version, there is a Template Patcher helper inside the Admin CP. Admin CP -> vbPlaza Maintenance -> Auto Patch Templates, when you run this the first time, it will just list the changes that it has found/not found. If you press Attempt Auto Patches, it will modify the template changes it has found only. It will also modify all styles for your forums. I have tested this on all 3 of my licensed vBulletin production websites and the patches all worked great.

NOTE: If you want ibProArcade, v3 Arcade or vBookie integration now, you'll have to install the appropriate Addon included in the download. The reason for these parts being packaged as Addons, is to make the install a little smaller for users who do not have an Arcade, and because both Arcades cant be installed simultaneously as well. So it saves space only installing the one that you currently have.

1) Bugfix: Quick editing a post with BB Codes, modified the post directly instead of modifying a copy.

Database Backups Recommended!
Although I have upgraded 3 forums with this script already, it IS recommended that you backup your database before installing this product!!

Upgrading Instructions:
NOTE: THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOR UPGRADING IF YOU HAD A PREVIOUS VERSION OF eBux / eStore INSTALLED!!
1) DO NOT UNINSTALL eBux / eStore (UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE ANY AND ALL SETTINGS.)
2) Reupload all of the files in the upload folder to your forum's root folder. Make sure that all files are being overwritten. Do not move on to the next step until all files are transferred successfully!
NOTE: It could take a long time to install if you have a lot of registered users, be PATIENT! It should display the messages as it goes along to let you know that it IS working.
3) After finished with step 2!! Reimport the product-vbbuxplaza.xml file via Admin CP -> Plugin System -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product. Make sure that Allow Overwrite is set to YES.
4) Refresh the Admin CP and you will see all of the vbBux / vbPlaza Admin CP features at the top.
5) UNINSTALL THE OLD eBux / eStore NOW!! Go to Admin CP -> Plugin System -> Manage Products -> eBux / eStore -> Uninstall.
6) You can delete all files/folders that have the word estore or elottery in them from the FTP as well.
7) You will need to redo the template edits listed below as almost all of them have changed since the previous eBux / eStore.

If upgrading from a previous version of vbBux / vbPlaza follow these instructions:
1) Reupload all of the files in the upload folder to your forum's root folder. Make sure that all files are being overwritten. Do not move on to the next step until all files are transferred successfully!
2) After finished with step 2!! Reimport the product-vbbuxplaza.xml file via Admin CP -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product. Make sure that Allow Overwrite is set to YES.
3) Refresh the Admin CP and get to checking your settings!
NOTE: You will be happy know that NO templates have been updated from v1.5.0 to v1.5.2!

Did you upgrade to 1.1.2 yet? There was a bug that should have been fixed in the new version. I will double check on my site to see if it was.

It is all fixed on my site. Now when they post, not only do they get points per character, but they also get points for starting the thread and replying to it. Works as designed.

In your AdminCP >> eBux Options >> Manage Settings. Towards the bottom you can change ebux to ucash.

If you have ucash, and you want to install ebux, I thought ebux was going to take the amount of points that already existed in the ucash tables, and put them into new ebux tables.

With that said, if you're also using vbookie, we now should keep the ucash tables, and not use the ebux system? Doesn't that interfere with the new estore hack?

Wouldn't it be "safer" to take the ucash points, put them into ebux, and then get rid of ucash, and change the vbookie hack to use the ebux tables?

I think, LOL. Now I'm lost! Glad you guys understand this. :speechless:

Ok as it still keeps coming up and my original instructions are buried about 50 pages back here is a complete guide to making vbookie work with ebux. Section 1 assumes vbookie is already installed and ucash is not installed. If ucash is already installed go straight to section 2.

Maybe CMX can add this to the readme as it is such a common question.

Section 1 (vbbokie installed ucash not installed)
Ok here is how to integrate ebux and vbookie without having to edit the vbookie files.

Install eBux as per the readme.

Search for and remove the following if it exists in postbit and postbit_legacy templates

At this point you have 2 options which I will highlight bold and green, the bold option is for advanced users who are comfortable with running sql queries, if this does not describe you skip past this onto the green section. Once past the chosen section continue the normal text instructions.

Go to ACP >> Maintenance >> Execute SQL Query

Execute the following query

ALTER TABLE `user` CHANGE `ebux` `ucash` DECIMAL( 30, 5 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0.00000'

Go to AdminCP >> eBux Options >> Manage Settings and change Points Field Name to ucash (this option should be just over half way down the list.)

If you used the bold option skip past this green text. If you didn't feel comfortable messing with the sql then open /includes/functions_vbookie.php change all instances of ucash to eBux BEING CAREFUL NOT TO CHANGE ANY instance of vbookieucash. Remember to make these changes anytime a new version of vbookie is released.

Then go to ACP >> vBulletin Option >> vBookie Settings and set Enable uCash to yes

eBux and vBookie will now work together.

Section 2 ucash is already installed.

First remove ucash and vbookie edits to the postbit and postbit_legacy templates (or simply revert them if ucash and vbookie are your only postbit changes you have made).

Install eBux as per the readme

Go to AdminCP >> eBux Options >> uCash Integration >>click process

Go to AdminCP >> eBux Options >> Manage Settings and change Points Field Name to ucash (this option should be just over half way down the list.)

Go to the ucash settings and turn ucash off (don't uninstall it as this will remove the ucash field from the databse). If you really want to uninstall it you can but after you uninstall ucash you will need to run the SQL query mentioned in the bold section or make the file edits in the green section. If you don't uninstall ucash there is no need to run the query or edit the files.

(If you haven't installed vbookie yet you can install it now but don't do the postbit edits)

Then go to ACP >> vBulletin Option >> vBookie Settings and set Enable uCash to yes

eBux and vBookie will now work together
