Description:
This mod rewrites eBay links so they link to an affiliate.

Request:
Requested in a paid deal by brookelyn, this modification's idea can also be accredited to brookelyn. Also requested by various other members.

Installation:
All the installation information is in the package.

You will need to manually modify the rewriting function yourself.

I just installed this and am having the same problem. The rewrite works properly sometimes, but not others. I know that EPN recently changed the format of the URL in their "Link Generator" tool, perhaps that has something to do with it.

Any update on this? It happens almost all the time. When a link is posted, it seems to work for a very few minutes and then when you click on it you get the "Invalid Item" message at Ebay. I loved this mod but it seems to be broken now.

looks like it's replacing & with & literally in the url (ie, its writng out the ascii of &amp thus, the link looks like viewitem?&itemno=123 instead of viewitem?&itemno=123

as a work around, i changed

$encodedlink = urlencode($rightlink);

to

$encodedlink = $rightlink;

This isn't xhtml valid, but it seems to be more reliable.
