This mod rewrites eBay links so they link to an affiliate.

Request:
Requested in a paid deal by brookelyn, this modification's idea can also be accredited to brookelyn. Also requested by various other members.

Installation:
All the installation information is in the package.

As most affiliate links seem to follow a similar pattern....

eg. http://{affilate_url}/{unique_id}?DURL={Original URL}

Random question but when I log out it says "cookies cleared" or something along those lines. Does this mean that vbulletin auto deletes any cookies? That would not be good.

That's not even a question about this modification...

Anyway, that means it's cleared the cookies for your site. Your site can't touch the cookies of any other site.

Yes, and did you sign up to the eBay program? You will get an ID and that is what you put in.

Thank you for those replies, I have applied and hear NOTHING back, perhaps they dont like me, however, I am a big board so they have lots to gain especially as we are autos

Not being lazy but could some one issue me a link incase I am having a blonde moment.

Hello,

I'm a newbie to VBulletin so I have a rather inane question. I've added the product via the XML file and clicked on

VBoptions -> Rewrite eBay LInks

I've entered in my ID. So far, so good.

Now...how do I set the search string and where it should display in the forum? I do not see any options for that.
