What this is and does
LDM is a general-purpose link and file manager, which handles user uploads and downloads in a flexible way. A range of media players is integrated into LDM and others are included as plugin extras. LDM is described below in the first post of this thread, which also contains a brief list of the currently-known bugs.
This release of LDM works correctly with all VB versions 3.6.x and recent versions of vbadvanced.
I'm having some issues which I only recently discovered. I suspect they started when I updated to vb3.6 a month and a half or so ago.
Previously added links work fine, as do the counters.
However, whenever I (as a forum admin) or someone else tries to add a link, nothing gets inserted. I get the small bit about "processing" after hitting submit, but nothing happens after that. I've checked my permissions (which I hadn't altered from before, I'm fairly sure), so I don't think that's the problem, though I suppose it could be - even if it is a problem though, I can only imagine an error message would be thrown if I didn't have permissions to do this.
You know? in vb 3.6.1 when i click on LDMs config inside control panel... i'm taken out of it and config is open in the whole page... is this supposed to happen? Oo
I made an early decision (maybe right, maybe wrong) not to do full integration with the vb admincp, so the 'look and feel' is different.
However, I think the problem of vb cp pages taking over the whole screen is actually a 'cookie' or 'cache' problem. I've had this on and off over the years with all parts of the VB admincp, and the only way to solve it is to clear the cache, close the browser and start again.

Am sorry to hear this. Should I take a look at your site to check things out? Happy to do so - PM me with an admin username and pwd.

Check your LDM zip package there are several addons in it.
Now... i have a petition for future LDMs!!! ^^
OK, here is the idea, when you are adding a new file manually, there is no option to select keywords... you think it's possible to add a select box for this?
A similar box as the one that allows you to choose a category, but with a multioption. An maybe this could also be useful in mass edit options.

That would save a lot of time ^_^
Thanks Andrew! As Always ^^,
Thanks. Currently, the 'add entry' form includes a text box for associating keywords with the new entry. This text box is 'Ajax' enabled, so you will be shown which matching keywords are already available when you start typing. You can choose to ignore this list, and any new words you specify are 'auto added' to the database.
As I understand, you would prefer a select box which lists the currently available keywords.
So, I have these questions:
a) Is this what you are asking for?
b) What happens if there are a lot of keywords defined - the risk is that the select box will be so long that the page will never finish being displayed.

pls see my PM - the problem is (I think) that you have an old, modified LDM template stored in your database
